Want to unlock a sleek, free vehicle in A Dusty Trip? The Fox Fang is a new car you can add to your garage by completing a scavenger-style quest. In this How to Unlock the Free Fox Fang Car in A Dusty Trip guide, we’ll walk you through the entire process—from where to find each part, how to avoid those pesky zombies, and how to assemble everything step-by-step.

Let’s get into the details of what makes this car special, where to start your hunt, and how to successfully build the Fox Fang from scratch.

How to Unlock the Free Fox Fang Car in A Dusty Trip

How to Start the Fox Fang Quest

The Fox Fang quest begins once you travel far enough into the wasteland. The first landmark you need to look out for is located around 4,100 meters in the real servers. As you approach, you’ll see a house guarded by zombies, so make sure you’re armed before stepping in. You’ll need to clear the area before collecting any car parts.

Once the zombies are out of the way, move your current vehicle closer to the house. This will save you a lot of time when carrying parts. Trust us—you don’t want to walk back and forth carrying car doors through zombie territory.

Collecting Parts from the First Landmark

Inside and around the first house, you’ll find the first set of parts you’ll need for the Fox Fang. Look inside a nearby wrecked car to grab one of the parts. Then, enter the house to find two wheels and two doors. These items can be a little awkward to maneuver—especially the doors—so you might need to rotate them carefully to avoid getting stuck in tight spaces.

Once you’ve collected everything, store the parts in or near your own car. These will come in handy at the next location.

Head to the Second Landmark (9,000 Meters)

Once your haul is secured, keep driving until you hit the second key location—around 9,000 meters out. This area is a bit more intense, featuring another group of zombies and even a mutant, so be ready for a fight.

After clearing out the enemies, bring your car up close to the building just like before. Now it’s time to start assembling.

Assembling the Fox Fang

Start attaching the parts you brought from the first landmark. Once those are in place, there are still a few more pieces you need to find in this area.

Outside on a wooden platform, you’ll find another wheel. There’s one more tucked away inside the building as well. Once both are attached, you’ll have all four wheels installed. The trunk is located up in a small tower—climb up, drag it down, and snap it into place on the back of the car.

Inside the house, you’ll find two additional car doors. One is sitting just outside a room, while the other is deeper inside. Like before, rotating the doors to squeeze them out can be tricky, but you’ll get the hang of it.

Finally, locate the hood cover—usually lying nearby—and attach it to the front.

Install the Engine and Radiator

Now that the body of the Fox Fang is complete, it’s time to power it up. The car doesn’t come with its own engine or radiator, so you’ll need to take these parts from your current vehicle.

Pop open the hood of your car, remove the engine and radiator, and install them into the new build. Once everything is in place, you’ll get a notification at the bottom of your screen:
“You’ve unlocked the new Fox Fang. You can access it in your garage.”

Is the Fox Fang Worth Unlocking?

Definitely. While it takes a bit of effort—and a lot of walking back and forth—this free vehicle is a solid addition to your garage. The design is clean, the process is engaging, and there’s something genuinely satisfying about building a car from scattered parts while fighting off waves of zombies.

The Fox Fang is perfect for players who love exploration and don’t mind a bit of crafting. Plus, you won’t have to spend a single scrap of currency to get it—just time and skill.
