The Shark Boss fight is one of the first tough battles in Tribe Nine. But don’t worry! With this Tribe Nine Shark Boss Guide, you’ll defeat it easily. Let’s get started with this Tribe Nine Shark Boss Guide – How to Beat Shark Boss.
Tribe Nine Shark Boss Guide – How to Beat
Before the Fight
Before jumping into the battle, we need to make a few preparations:
1. Tension Cards
Equip the Ferocity card. It revives one character if they die but drains your entire tension bar.
Survival cards are very useful, so bring them along!
2. Team Composition
Use your best characters.
Bring a healer to keep your team alive.
If you have Saigo, use him! His abilities make some of Shark’s moves easier to handle.
3. Compatible Monsters
- Equip the latest compatible monsters for extra defense and health. Even if they don’t have great skills, their stat boosts help you survive.
Once you’ve set up your team, it’s time to fight!
Shark Boss Moves & How to Dodge Them
1. Burrow Attack
Shark starts every fight with this move. It dives into the ground and shoots water rings.
If you get hit, you’ll get Distress (a status effect that slows you down).
How to Dodge: Parry the attack. The parry window is huge, so try to time it right!
2. Tail Cleave & Chomp Attack
- Tail Cleave: Hits in front of the boss. Dodge to the side or back.
- Chomp Attack: Three quick bites. The first two come fast, and the last one is delayed but stronger. Wait, dodge sideways, then attack again.
3. Laser Attack
- Shark moves away and fires a laser that also causes Distress.
- How to Dodge: Sprint behind the boss to avoid it. If you can’t, dodge right before the beam hits.
4. Mine Phase
- Shark disappears and reappears in the middle, dropping mines around the arena.
- How to Dodge: Stand on a mine, wait for Shark to charge at you, then dodge at the last second. It will eat the mine and get stunned. Be careful—other mines will explode!
5. Cascading Wave
- Three waves crash around the edges of the arena.
- How to Dodge: Stay in the center of the arena, where the waves don’t hit as hard.
6. Jump & Splash Attack
- Shark disappears, the music fades, and a warning appears. Then it jumps and crashes down, causing Distress.
- How to Dodge:
- Look down at the ground to spot the attack.
- Sprint in one direction.
- When a puddle appears beneath you, spam your dodge button to escape.
If dodging is hard, use Saigo and his strategy skill to reduce damage!
7. EX Attack – Whirlpool & Dashes
- The arena dims, and a whirlpool appears in the center.
- Shark dashes from the whirlpool while waves crash in a pattern.
- How to Dodge:
- Walk in a circle around the arena while tapping dodge.
- The dashes won’t hit if you keep moving!
- If you’re using Saigo, activate his strategy skill to avoid damage.
