TSB is finally back! After nearly 7 months, the game has received a major update—and while it might feel slightly underwhelming for the long wait, there’s no denying that some features are downright game-changing. From reworks to finishers to brand-new mechanics like custom skill creation, here’s everything you need to know in this The Strongest Battlegrounds Update Guide.

The Strongest Battlegrounds Update Guide – Every Major Change Explained

Character Revamps & Finishers

1. Blade Master (Atomic Samurai)

Quick Slice now has a new finisher animation.

Flame On Passive has been reworked:

Instead of lasting 10 seconds, the flame stays active until you land a certain number of hits.

Down slamming with the flame now triggers a variant attack.

Overall feel: Looks smooth, satisfying, and more impactful in combat.

2. Saitama

Consecutive Punches has a new finisher—clean and cinematic.

Definitely adds more flair and power to Saitama’s playstyle.

3. Deadly Ninja (Speed-o’-Sound Sonic)

  • Flash Strike got a full finisher rework.
  • Movement and visuals are sharper, flashier, and much more refined.

4. Child Emperor (Kid Prodigy)

Full visual overhaul; now wears a backpack that opens when attacking.

Web Boom: New finisher that spawns an additional bot—great against teamers.

Plasma Cannon:

New finisher creates a black hole that sucks enemies in.

New passive for Plasma Cannon called Rail Gun—adds another layer of control.

Twin Burst replaces Double Trouble.

Trinity Tear now has an aerial variant—can only be triggered mid-air.

NEW Ultimate: Iron Giant

Only has one move, Photon Edge, but it’s insanely powerful.

No jumping while transformed.

Combos feel like a full-on boss raid experience.

5. Garou’s Monster Form (Gau) – NEW Mastery

Doesn’t require any unlocks—you can use it straight away.

Entirely new move set:

Doom Dive: Can be used three times with precise timing.

Crowdbuster: Crawls on the ground before slamming—visually wild.

Hammer Heal and its jump variant deliver big knockback damage.

Overall: Feels like a monstrous brawler. Very flashy and unique.

🧰 New Mechanics & Features

1. Move Builder (Beta)

  • Create your own custom skills:
    • Add custom names, animations, and mix existing skills to make something new.
  • Still in early stages, but has serious potential for future creativity.

2. Morph Skill

  • Lets you transform into objects.
  • Think of it as TSB’s version of prop hunt.

3. Skip Death Emotes

  • You can now disable death emotes—finally! No more forced toxic flexing.

4. New Emotes

  • 37 new emotes added to the game.
  • Style on your opponents like never before.

5. Trash Can Block Mechanic

  • Blocking now lets you drop a trash can.
  • Pure chaos. Pure fun.

Map & Quality of Life Updates

Six new ranked maps added.

Ranked maps can now be used in build mode.

More scrap skills can be spawned.

Wheel cursor and brightness settings now save properly.

New mesh setting for optimization.

New Badges

  • Earn a badge by landing multiple Black Flashes in a match.

While the update may not fully justify the long wait (6-7 months), the move builder, character finishers, and custom skill system are definitely setting up for something big.
