The Demon Castle update in Solo Hunters added a new endgame dungeon, a brand-new weapon system, quality-of-life changes, and some free codes.
If you just logged in and feel confused about what actually matters — this guide will walk you through everything clearly.
All New Working Codes
Redeem these first so you don’t miss free rewards.
DemonCastle — 300 Gems
200KLikes — 300 Gems
SorryForTheLongDelay — 300 Gems
RocketSword — 200 Souls
Souls are the new currency used in the Demon banner.
New Demon Castle Dungeon (Main Feature)
This is the biggest addition.
You can find the Demon Castle near the subway area.
Entry Limits
You get:
2 attempts per refresh cycle.
It’s expected to reset roughly every 24 hours.
How Demon Castle Works
Each run follows a structured floor system.
Floor Mechanics
Each floor contains:
5 waves of enemies.
Enemies spawn around the map.
Important warning:
If enemies fall off the map, they die.
If YOU fall off, your run instantly ends.
There is no double jump, so movement requires careful parkour.
Finding the Exit Portal
After clearing all waves:
A portal spawns somewhere on the floor.
It emits a blue light into the sky.
Sometimes it spawns near you.
Other times you must search the map to find it.
Boss Floors
Every 5 floors, you fight a boss.
Defeating the boss gives a Boss Key.
This key automatically unlocks the next floor gate when you approach it.
Rewards System
You mainly earn rewards from floor progression.
These include:
Souls (new currency)
Daily floor rewards
The rewards reset periodically, allowing repeat farming.
Demon Castle Difficulty & Time
Runs can take a long time.
Higher floors become much harder.
Archers especially become very dangerous at later levels.
A full deep run can take significant time investment.
New Currency – Souls
Souls are earned inside Demon Castle.
They are used in the new Demon Summon Banner.
This is where you obtain the Rocket Sword.
Rocket Sword – New Mythic Weapon
The Rocket Sword is currently the only Mythic weapon in the Demon banner.
It introduces a new weapon progression system.
How Rocket Sword Progression Works
Unlike older weapons:
It does NOT have a skill tree.
Instead, it scales purely through leveling and mastery.
As its level increases, its damage increases automatically.
This is likely how future weapons will work.
Rocket Sword Abilities
Rocket Slide
You ride the blade forward across the ground.
Stops when hitting an enemy or obstacle.
Has small AoE damage.
Rocket Swing (Unlocks at Mastery 100)
Forward moving AoE slash.
Good for clearing groups.
Rocket Smash
Short cone attack in front of you.
Deals strong burst damage.
Damage Scaling Example
At base level:
~9,300 damage.
After leveling up:
Damage increases automatically.
This confirms scaling replaces skill trees.
Other Quality-of-Life Changes
Several smaller improvements were added.
Leaderboards
You can now see damage rankings among friends.
Stats only count from the update onward.
Gate Power Indicator
Green gate = You’re strong enough to enter.
Helps guide progression paths.
Instant Chest Opening
Chests now open instantly.
No more holding to open.
Major time saver.
Auto Queue Next Dungeon
New button allows quick entry into the next appropriate dungeon.
Very helpful for new players progressing through gates.Current Community Feedback
Many players feel Demon Castle is:
Time-consuming
Parkour-heavy
Not very fast-paced
Some also experienced bugs and lag at launch.
However, developers already announced a follow-up revamp update.
What’s Coming Next Update
Expected improvements include:
New dungeons
New bosses
More weapons
Balance adjustments
So Demon Castle will likely evolve soon.
This update feels like a foundation for future content rather than a fully polished system.
Demon Castle introduces a new endgame loop, and the Rocket Sword shows the direction the developers are moving toward with weapon progression.
It’s a big step — but clearly still being refined.
