Rune Slayer Update March 16, 2025
New Additions
Uncommon Scroll & New Spell – Nothing major, just a small addition.
OST Gauntlet (Legendary Fist Weapon) – Drops from Beastmen (not 100% confirmed).
Bounty NPCs – Now available in every town.
Rope Jumping – You can now jump off ropes for better mobility.
Custom Keybinds – Fully customizable controls.
Buffs & Nerfs
Nerfs
- Holy Shield – Reduced effectiveness.
- Ambush (Ninjas) – Increased cooldown.
- Piercing Thrust – Damage reduction.
- Striker Damage – Lowered from 20 to 15 per hit.
- Greater Slime – Now has a 3-second cooldown.
- Earth Wall – Heavily nerfed – less range, more cooldown, lower damage.
- Armageddon – Passive nerfed by 3 seconds.
- Ragnarok – Cooldown increased (6s → 9s), now only works on crits and M1s.
- Blink – Cooldown increased (10s → 25s).
- Sand Shooter – Damage reduction.
- Summon Fiend (Warlocks) – Cooldown increased (10s → 30s).
- Dullahan – Nerfed.
- Knight’s Exhaust Damage – Reduced.
- Holy Fire – Damage reduced (20 → 16).
- Hell Piercer – Swing speed now matches regular swords.
- Holy Light – Now has a 25-second cooldown.
Biggest Change – 2X Drop Rates!
For a limited time, all loot drop rates are doubled. Right now, this applies to Monday and Tuesday because the update was delayed. In the future, weekends will have permanent 2x drop rates.
If you’ve been hunting Golden Fair or rare weapons, now is the best time to farm!
This is mainly a balance patch, so there’s no major content update. The new gauntlets are the only new weapon added. Hopefully, next week brings more content along with these balance changes.
