Archived is a Project Moon–inspired game on Roblox that blends deep progression systems with challenging combat. You’ll grind for weapons, fight enemies, and climb the ranks of “Fixers” in associations, much like in Lobotomy Corp or Library of Ruina. If you enjoy strategy and skill-based combat, this game will keep you hooked.

Roblox Archived Beginner Guide – Quests & Progression

Starting the Game

  1. Choose a Slot – When you boot up, you’ll be asked to select a slot. Pick one and continue.
  2. Join an Association – Instead of staying unemployed, apply for an office or association. One of the easiest early choices is the Liu Association (LU). The application quiz is simple and can be skipped with V if you want to rush.
  3. Appearance – Customize your character here. It’s uncertain if appearance changes are possible later, so do it now.

First Steps: Becoming a Fixer

  • You spawn in a train station. Talk to the NPC at the front to become a Fixer.
  • Exit onto Boulevard 12, then head to the Sentenza (quest office).
  • Speak with the NPC inside, pick the first option, and you’ll get your first contract: fighting grunts.

Basic Controls

  • Left Click – M1 (light attack)
  • Right Click – Parry
  • F – Block
  • W + W – Sprint
  • Jump + M1 – Dive attack

Quests & Progression

  • Combat Quests: Fight rats, thugs, and bosses for experience.
  • Litter Quests: Simpler tasks that give you books, which unlock weapons and skills.
  • Mob Boss Contracts: Follow the red chain to confront enemies. Defeating or escaping them completes the contract.

After completing early jobs, you’ll be directed to the Hana Association to take your Grade 9 Exam.

Fixer Exams & Grades

Grades determine your Fixer rank. You start at Grade 9 and work your way up.

  • The Grade 9 Exam is a quiz with randomized questions. Answers are available in the Trello.
  • Passing promotes you to Grade 8. From here, you unlock better weapons and quests.

Books & Weapons

Books are drops from quests and enemies. When used, they can unlock random rewards, including weapons.

Example: If you’re in the Liu Association and pull a weapon book, you can unlock the Lukew Guano, though it’s capped at Grade 7 for full damage potential.

Equip weapons with E.

The User Interface (UI) Explained

  • Top Left (Servers) –
    • Gray = normal servers
    • Red = Night in the Backstreets servers (hardcore, permadeath, better rewards).
  • Inventory (Tab) – Manage weapons, books, and items.
  • Fixer’s Journal – Records discovered enemies, weapons, and stats.
  • Cosmetics – Outfits that change appearance and grant passives.
  • Sin Affinity – The core stat system:
    • Wrath = Burn / Damage
    • Desire = Bleed / Light gain
    • Sloth = Tremor / Tankiness
    • Gluttony = Rupture / Damage
    • Gloom = Sinking / Damage
    • Pride = Poise builds
    • Envy = Charge builds

If you’re new, invest in Wrath (damage) or Desire (bleed/light).

  • Stats & Resistances – Numbers above 1 mean less damage taken from that type, numbers below 1 mean more damage taken.

The Library Invitations

Eventually, enemies will drop invitations.

  • Using one takes you to the Library, a dungeon-like area with permanent death risk.
  • Friends nearby when you activate the invitation will join you.
  • You’ll fight on floors like the Floor of Language or General Works, which differ slightly in difficulty.

Recommended: Attempt this after reaching Grade 7 for a smoother experience.

Tips for Beginners

  1. Always join an association early — don’t stay unemployed.
  2. Focus on Wrath affinity first if unsure.
  3. Do combat quests (rats, thugs) for both XP and books.
  4. Use books as soon as you get them to progress faster.
  5. Avoid “Night in the Backstreets” servers until you’re confident in combat.
  6. Go into the Library with friends; permadeath makes soloing risky.

Roblox Archived is a grind-heavy but rewarding experience. The loop is simple — take quests, earn books, unlock weapons, and climb grades — but layered with deep builds, associations, and high-stakes challenges. Mastering the basics early will prepare you for the game’s permadeath trials and PvP encounters.
