Ninja Time Tenseigan Update 8 – Codes, Mugetsu Boss
1. How to Start the Golden Byakugan Questline
Your journey begins at the Trunin Tower, where you’ll find a quest NPC standing nearby. To interact with this quest, you must equip the White Eyes before speaking to the NPC.
First Quests:
Upon initiating the dialogue, you’ll receive a chain of three quests:
- Golden Proficiency
- Golden Proficiency II
- Golden Bacon
These initial quests revolve around defeating enemies who share your bloodline — referred to as the White-Eyed Sinners.
Objectives:
- Eliminate 100 White-Eyed Sinners
- Collect 20 Center Fragments
These enemies are weaker descendants of your bloodline. As you defeat them, your character begins the process of “awakening,” symbolizing the pursuit of the powerful Golden Byakugan.
2. How to Unlock the Mugetsu Boss – Part One
After completing the three initial proficiency quests, you’ll receive instructions to face a new boss: Mugetsu.
Requirements:
- Defeat Mugetsu once
- Collect 10 Mugetsu White Eyes Fragments
This boss spawns approximately every 30 minutes, so timing is important. Mugetsu has 50,000 HP, and while he’s a tough opponent, the fragments he drops are essential for progressing the Golden Byakugan line.
Each kill gives you a chance at one fragment, meaning you’ll likely need to defeat him around 10 times to collect enough.
Once you’ve obtained all ten fragments, return to the original NPC near Trunin Tower. This completes Part One of the Golden Byakugan storyline. The remaining parts will be added in future updates.
3. Tenseigan Awakening & The Reincarnation Trial
To unlock the powerful Tenseigan Awakening, you’ll need to complete the Reincarnation Questline given by another version of Mugetsu — this time located near Orochimaru’s Hideout.
Step 1 – White Eyes Adepts:
Mugetsu speaks of an ancient power within your bloodline and tasks you with a new trial:
- Defeat 20 White Eyes Adepts
- Collect 50 Byakugan Eyes
These NPCs spawn inside the Hyuga Mansion in the Leaf Village, right next to the Hokage Tower. The drop rate for Byakugan Eyes is relatively low, so you may need to fight more than 20 to meet the collection requirement.
Step 2 – Mugetsu Reincarnation Form:
Once you’ve cleared the Adepts, the final test begins:
- Defeat Mugetsu (Reincarnation Form) 5 times
- Collect 5 Reincarnation Eye Fragments
These drops are needed to complete the ritual and unlock your new form. After collecting all five fragments, return to the Mugetsu NPC to officially awaken the Tenseigan.
4. Tenseigan Awakening
Once unlocked, you can activate your Tenseigan through the Skill Tree, under the Cleanse tab. Equip the awakening mode, and your entire character will undergo a stunning visual transformation.
Key Features of Tenseigan Mode:
- Floating stance and enhanced movement speed
- Truth-Seeking Orbs floating behind you
- Signature Chakra Staff equipped on activation
- Updated block animation with a glowing visual effect
Your base abilities also receive new visual effects (VFX) while awakened, including:
- Enhanced range and color for Soul Snatch
- Blue aura trails on your third and fourth moves
- A new visual burst on your ultimate
Tenseigan isn’t just a visual glow-up — it adds both style and substance to your combat kit.
5. Snake NPC Kurama Tails Update
The Snake NPC, previously used for various side quests, now offers something entirely new: a chance to unlock early stages of Kurama’s Tail Mode.
What’s New:
- You can now obtain Stages 1, 2, or 3 of Kurama’s tails
- You’ll need Curse Tokens to interact with the NPC
- The reward is chance-based, so multiple attempts may be necessary
While it doesn’t guarantee full Kurama form, this mechanic allows players to earn early stages without relying solely on story progression.
6. Quality-of-Life Change: Disable Camera Shake
A small but impactful change has been added to the Extra Menu. You can now disable camera shaking effects during combat.
To turn this off:
- Open the Extra Menu
- Toggle Camera Shake to “Off”
This is especially helpful during flashy moves like Tenseigan’s ultimate, which used to cause screen vibrations. With this setting disabled, gameplay becomes more visually stable — ideal for long grind sessions or PvP.
