The latest Update 7 for Ninja Time is packed with new content and future teasers that hint at some pretty big features on the way. While the update doesn’t bring every feature live just yet (like the full Tenseigan mode or dual eyes), it sets the stage for one of the most important updates in the game’s future — the Sand Village Expansion.
Whether you’re just coming back or actively grinding, here’s everything you need to know about this update and what’s coming next.
Ninja Time Tenseigan Update – Codes, Dual Eyes, Sand Village
Tenseigan Abilities – First Look at the Moveset
The centerpiece of this update is the new eye ability: Tenseigan. While the mode itself isn’t available just yet (that’s coming in the next update), the moves are already in-game and they’re quite impressive.
Here’s a breakdown of each skill:
Chakra Extract – A ranged ability that not only deals damage but also stuns your opponent, making it excellent for combos or escaping pressure.
Chakra Beam – A strong forward beam with solid damage and visual effects. It can drop frames if you’re on lower-end systems — that’s how flashy it is.
Unavoidable Beam – Fires a quick burst that’s hard to dodge, useful in fast-paced duels.
Meteor Shower – One of the flashiest moves in the kit. You leap into the air and rain down meteors that slam enemies into the ground. Visually epic and very satisfying.
Truth Orb – Probably the most hype ability in the kit. This one generates a massive orb that deals high AoE damage. It feels like a tail beast-level nuke, but we’ll have to wait and see what its true scaling is once the mode drops.
Again, the actual Tenseigan Mode (transformation) isn’t live yet — but it’s confirmed to be coming in the next update, which means the damage and scaling of these moves may change once that arrives.
New Clothing – More Hokage and Clan Uniforms
Several new clothing items were added — some of which are direct nods to iconic characters from the Naruto universe, suggesting their clans or versions may soon be added:
Illusionist Shadows – Resembles Mizukage clothing. Could hint at the character or clan coming next update.
Thunder Shadows – Looks like Raikage or Killer Bee’s attire.
Gold Dust Shadows – Clearly inspired by Rasa (Gaara’s father, the Fourth Kazekage).
Shadow Professor’s Outfit – Based on the Third Hokage. His family already exists in-game, so his clan is likely coming soon.
Nullified Shadow (Bandaged) – Believed to be based on a “mummy-like” character who uses atomic shields. Another possible upcoming clan.
Most of these outfits are unlockable in dungeons, so if you want them now, that’s where you’ll need to grind.
Dual Eyes System – Secret Area & Quest Teasers
One of the most exciting sneak peeks involves a hidden lab that hints at a future Dual Eye System. If you visit a secret area in the game and interact with two NPCs, you’ll discover that they’re connected to a future feature allowing players to combine different eye abilities — like Byakugan + Sharingan, or other combinations.
One of the characters in the lab tells you they’re working on something “revolutionary,” and the dialogue makes it clear this will be part of a future update. This dual eyes feature could radically change PvP metas depending on how it’s balanced.
As of now, you can’t complete the quest or activate the system — but it’s confirmed to be coming next.
Sand Village – What’s Coming Soon
Update 7 also hides several easter eggs pointing toward the upcoming Sand Village Update, which seems to be the game’s next big expansion.
So far, here’s what we know (or can speculate with decent confidence):
- The Sand Village Map is in development and was teased directly in the game’s update logs.
- New clans associated with Sand characters (like Gold Dust, potentially a Rasa-based clan) are being added.
- There’s likely a new tailed beast coming with the update.
- Clan structures and family lines already exist for several of the teased characters, making their addition very likely.
- One secret room seems to display what might be a Hyuga symbol variant, hinting at a new form of the Byakugan or a possible evolution.
It’s clear that the devs are layering in more lore and long-term progression with these expansions — expect more powerful families, advanced jutsus, and a possibly tougher PvP environment.
Sneak Peek: UI Overhaul & Dungeon Updates
The devs have also revealed that a UI update is on the way. While many players feel the current UI is fine, the new look is supposedly more streamlined and modern. Sneak peeks showed partial menus and placeholders, so this is still in the works.
Dungeon content has also been updated with new maps and likely more variety in enemy setups. The visuals weren’t shown in detail, but this means dungeon grinding could soon feel more dynamic.
Bonus Additions: Choji Clan, Balance Changes & More
The update also added the Choji clan — known for their body-expansion jutsus and strong tank presence. While not as flashy as eye-based clans, Choji types can be surprisingly strong in PvE or boss-based modes.
There are also some balance tweaks across various kits, and possibly some stealth buffs/nerfs not yet documented. If you’re a competitive player, now’s the time to test your builds again and see what’s shifted.
Ninja Time’s Update 7 isn’t the biggest in terms of immediately playable content — the Tenseigan mode is still missing, and Dual Eyes aren’t live — but it’s a foundational patch that sets the stage for major future changes.
