Finding Shukaku requires navigating a hidden passage that many players overlook. Start from the Sand Village, standing directly in front of the Kage Office. Move straight to the right, keeping your direction fixed until you reach the arena gate. This landmark confirms that you are heading the correct way.
Continue right and move past the structures until a pyramid comes into view. Once you see it, keep walking in that same direction until you reach a wall that marks the beginning of the secret area. Drop down into the passage below and follow the tunnel inward. This underground path leads directly to Shukaku’s spawn chamber, a closed-off room where the One-Tail appears.
This entire hidden section serves as the official Shukaku spawn zone, and most players do not know it exists, which makes it a reliable place to farm without heavy competition once the bugs settle.
Shukaku Boss
Shukaku spawns inside this chamber with a massive health pool, reportedly around one million HP. Due to the high player count and server instability, the boss can appear buggy or laggy, especially during update launch periods. Expect delayed attacks, movement glitches and unpredictable hitboxes when too many players are active in the same zone.
Shukaku’s attacks carry wide area damage, so staying mobile is essential. Climbing onto his body or maneuvering around the arena can help avoid large slams and chakra blasts. Positioning matters because it often becomes difficult to see your damage percentage or track his health when the battlefield is crowded.
Upon defeating the boss, players receive chi essences and spirit essences. The mode is not guaranteed on every clear, but repeated attempts steadily increase your chances.
Sand Beast Mode
Once unlocked, Sand Beast Mode transforms you into a partial One-Tail hybrid. Visually, your character takes on the classic Shukaku arm and partial facial mutation, reflecting the first stage of the One-Tail’s chakra cloak.
Inside the skill tree, the beast section lists Sand Beast Stage One, which grants a balanced mastery bonus of increased vitality and chakra mastery at thirty-five percent each. Since this is only the first stage, more power is planned for future updates. Stage Two arrives next week and Stage Three is scheduled for the following week, each expected to introduce stronger stats and more dynamic visuals.
Sand Beast Mode Abilities
The first stage provides two abilities, though the current update launch has introduced notable bugs affecting their consistency. When they function correctly, each move behaves differently.
Sand Guard
This ability creates a spiked sand shield around the user. It acts as a temporary defensive buff that helps soften incoming damage. While not flashy, it provides dependable protection in close-range situations.
Sand Drop
This is the X-key move that releases falling sand particles. At the moment, its visual impact and damage feedback are not impressive, and players have reported inconsistent activation. The move seems designed as a short-range pressure tool, though its final functionality may improve once the developers address the current bugs.
Both abilities serve as introductory tools for Stage One but are clearly meant to be overshadowed by the more advanced stages arriving in future updates.
Tips for Fighting Shukaku Efficiently
Approach the boss from elevated angles whenever possible to limit how many of his attacks can reach you. Attacking from his back or head gives more time to dodge the large ground-based strikes.
Keep distance during his angered phases because he begins launching broader attacks that can easily knock players across the map. If you lose sight of his health bar, reposition near the center of the arena where the UI tends to display more consistently.
Try to tackle the fight in lower-population servers until the developers finalize the update. Doing so significantly reduces lag and makes the damage registration clearer, increasing your chances of hitting the required contribution percentage for rewards.
