Mobile Legends Season 36 brings big changes, especially for tanks, mages, and assassins. Expect Pharsa, Johnson, and Brody to rise in popularity, while heroes like Hanzo and Badang might struggle. The emblem reworks will also change how players approach aggressive and defensive strategies.

Mobile Legends Season 36 Meta Update Guide & Codes

Buffed Heroes

Pharsa (Mage)

  • Wings by Wings movement speed increased from 135% → 150%.
  • Her passive cooldown reduces when leveling up her ultimate, making her poke much stronger.
  • Skill 1 now reveals enemies on hit.

💡 Pharsa will now be even more popular in pro play and ranked.

Brody (Marksman)

  • Back swing delay reduced by 40% (Skill 1) and 20% (Skill 2).

💡 Faster skill casting improves his mobility. This could help him regain relevance.

Johnson (Tank/Mage Hybrid)

  • Skill 2 now reduces enemy magic defense by 10% per hit, stacking up to 3 times.
  • Applies stronger slow effect (now up to 30% slow at max stacks).

💡 Mage Johnson might be a real threat now!

Akai (Tank/Fighter)

  • Heavy Spin cooldown reduced by 10 seconds in late game.
  • Damage slightly lowered to balance the faster cooldown.

💡 Expect to see Akai picked more as a frontline tank!

Minotaur (Tank/Support)

  • Skill 1 knock-up range increased.

💡 A small buff, but probably not enough to bring him back into the meta.

Chip (Support)

  • Skill 4 now allows teleportation anywhere (instead of only on marked locations).

💡 This change makes Chip one of the most mobile supports in the game!

Natalya (Assassin)

  • Skill 1 and Ultimate cooldown reduced in the late game.

💡 She’ll be even deadlier with more frequent bursts.

Eudora (Mage)

  • Skill 1 and Skill 2 mana costs reduced.

💡 This helps with her mana-hungry early game.

Argus (Fighter)

  • Ultimate now converts all damage dealt (to any target) into HP.

💡 A big buff that could make Argus more viable!

Nerfed Heroes

Hanzo (Assassin)

  • Skill 1 HP recovery reduced (30% → 20%).
  • Ultimate energy cost increased but cooldown shortened in late game.
  • Skill 2 now restores 20 energy on hit.

💡 Hanzo is now more dependent on the purple buff.

Hayabusa (Assassin)

  • Ultimate damage adjusted to prevent easy kills on backliners.

💡 Slight early-game nerf but stronger late-game scaling.

Badang (Fighter)

  • Skill 1 range reduced (6.5 → 5.5).
  • Skill 2 cooldown now fixed at 9 seconds.
  • Dash distance reduced (4.5 → 4).

💡 A serious nerf that weakens his mobility and burst potential.

Melissa (Marksman)

  • Skill 2 damage transfer ratio reduced (60-80% → 60%).
  • Skill 2 cooldown reduced (9-7 sec → 9-6 sec).
  • Base movement speed lowered (248 → 240).

💡 This aims to balance Melissa’s damage while keeping her viable.

Miya (Marksman)

  • Passive weakened due to recent marksman dominance.

💡 A needed adjustment after marksmen became too strong.

Adjusted Heroes

Lukas (Fighter/Tank)

  • Ultimate now deals AoE damage instead of just hitting the first target.
  • Damage increased.

💡 Lukas jungle could become a strong pick.

Zhuxin (Mage/Support)

  • Passive stacks lowered, but mana regeneration per stack increased (4% → 5%).
  • Skill 2 mana cost increased but damage boosted.

💡 Her bans might decrease, but she’s still a strong pick.

Beatrix (Marksman)

  • Bennett’s damage nerfed, while other weapons got buffs.
  • Wesker’s attack effect inheritance improved.
  • Wesker’s ultimate cooldown reduced.

💡 Beatrix players might shift to Wesker builds now.

Julian (Assassin/Fighter)

  • Now classified as an Assassin instead of Mage/Fighter.
  • Only gets half the effect of Rose Gold Meteor.

💡 Julian’s new role could change how players build him.

Emblem & Talent Changes

Killing Spree

  • Now activates when damaging an enemy below 30% HP (instead of only on kills).
  • If a target is not killed, a 30-second cooldown applies.

💡 Encourages aggressive play while balancing out snowballing.

Temporal Rain

  • Cooldown extended by 2 seconds per kill/assist.

💡 Buffs heroes like Joy who rely on this emblem.

Pull Yourself Together

  • Initial cooldown reduction is now 12% (up from 10%).
  • Gains an additional 1% per kill/assist (max 8 stacks, up to 20%).

💡 Great for heroes who use Flicker often.

Tenacity

  • Now grants 5% damage reduction instead of 15 physical/magic defense when HP is below 50%.

💡 This helps tanks more and prevents marksmen from abusing it.

Firmness

  • Physical & Magic Defense increased from 6 → 8.

💡 A small but useful buff for tanks.

Inspire

  • Now grants +2 mana regeneration.

💡 Good for mana-dependent heroes.
