New Raid Boss Events
Update 10 introduces two new raid-style bosses that spawn on timers and provide rare rewards.
Serpent Raid Boss
The Serpent boss is tied to a fishing mechanic and appears in a special Whirlpool event.
Spawn Mechanics
• Appears every 1 hour 30 minutes
• Despawns if no players are nearby for 10 minutes
• Whirlpool respawn timer only begins after the boss is defeated
To summon the boss:
- Find a Whirlpool in the sea.
- Use a Basic Fishing Rod.
- There is a 20% chance the Serpent will bite.
Once it appears, the Whirlpool disappears and the raid begins.
The boss can spawn in Sea 1, Sea 2, and Sea 3, but difficulty scales based on the sea.
Scaling includes:
• Boss HP
• Boss size
• Damage output
• Drop rates
This means the Sea 3 version will be significantly harder but offers better rewards.
Pteranodon Raid Boss
The second raid boss is the Pteranodon.
Spawn Rules
• Spawns every 2 hours
• Despawns after 30 minutes
Players need to defeat it quickly before it disappears. Expect competition from other players since raid rewards are valuable.
