The Split Soul Katana is currently one of the strongest late-game weapons in Jujutsu Zero. It offers massive damage, balanced cooldowns, and extremely smooth skill combos, which is why many players consider it the new meta weapon.
Here’s a complete guide covering how to unlock it step-by-step, what the quests require, and why the weapon is so powerful.
How To Get Split Soul Katana
We can’t obtain this weapon instantly. It requires completing the full Maki questline, and the order matters.
If we skip steps or try to take the last quest early, it won’t work.
Step 1 – Find the Maki NPC
To start the questline, we need to locate:
Awaken Zenin NPC (Maki)
Location:
Near Teleport Point 3.
When we talk to this NPC, we’ll see four quests.
To unlock the weapon, we must complete all four in order.
Quest 1 – Mid-Rank Zenin (5000 Points)
This is the longest quest.
Objective
Earn 5,000 points.
We gain points by:
- Defeating enemies
- Standing inside capture circles
But the fastest method is clearly defeating enemies nonstop.
Best Strategy
We should use techniques with:
- Large AoE range
- Fast cooldowns
The best options include:
Shrine
Limitless (especially strong)
Limitless works extremely well because we can spam skills and clear enemies quickly.
Rewards
After completion, we receive:
Cursed Iron
1 Soul Fragment
1 Heavenly Fragment
Quest 2 – First Boss Fight
The second quest is much faster.
Objective
Defeat a special boss.
Important mechanics:
- Boss deals percent HP damage
- Only takes base damage
- Takes longer to kill than normal bosses
Best Strategy
We should:
Use our domain to control the boss.
Keep constant pressure with high-damage skills.
Avoid long pauses between attacks.
Even if we die, the boss does not reset HP, so progress continues.
Rewards
We receive:
2 Cursed Iron
1 Soul Fragment
2 Heavenly Fragments
Quest 3 – Second Boss Fight
This is similar to Quest 2 but slightly harder.
The strategy remains the same:
Use domain control.
Maintain constant damage.
Return quickly if defeated.
Rewards
We get the final materials needed for weapon exchange.
Quest 4 – Exchange for Split Soul Katana
After completing the first three quests:
Return to the Maki NPC.
Take the fourth quest.
This step lets us exchange collected materials for the weapon.
If we want duplicates for ascension, we can repeat the entire questline.
Split Soul Katana Stats (Endgame)
At high levels and ascension, the weapon provides extremely strong stats.
Approximate stats include:
High attack power
Large critical damage bonus
Very high crit rate
Additional attack scaling
Even before skills, the stat line alone makes it top tier.
Basic Attack Damage (M1)
The weapon already performs strongly with normal attacks.
Average M1 damage is very high, and super critical hits can reach extremely large numbers.
This means we deal solid damage even between skill cooldowns.
All Split Soul Katana Skills
The weapon has three powerful skills, each designed for different combat situations.
Skill 1 – Blink Partition
This skill lets us:
Teleport forward
Slice all enemies in our path
Deal strong burst damage
It has a short cooldown and works as both mobility and damage.
This makes it great for rotations.
Skill 2 – Unending Divide
This is the weapon’s main damage skill.
It hits enemies multiple times in a medium area.
Because it hits repeatedly, it has a high chance to trigger critical damage, making it extremely powerful.
It deals some of the highest burst damage among weapon skills.
Skill 3 – Soul Recoil
This skill provides both offense and safety.
We:
Teleport to an enemy
Deal multiple hits
Teleport back to our original position
This is especially useful in raids because we can attack safely without staying in danger.
