To unlock Yamamoto in Anime Vanguards, you need to complete a series of challenging stages. First, you must play Story Mode and complete all stages of the Spirit Society map in Nightmare Mode. This is essential because finishing these stages unlocks the Legend Stages, where Yamamoto can be obtained.
Once you have access to Legend Stages, progress through them until you reach Act 3. In this act, there is a 0.75% chance of obtaining Yamamoto. Due to the low drop rate, it may take around 133 runs on average before you finally get him.
During Act 3, you will face the final boss, Yhwach, at Wave 15. The key mechanic in this fight is his yellow aura, which makes him completely invulnerable. You must wait for the aura to disappear before attacking him again. Once the boss is defeated, you can complete the stage and hope for Yamamoto to drop.
Since the drop rate is quite low, patience and multiple attempts will be required to unlock Yamamoto. Keep grinding, and eventually, you will add this powerful unit to your roster
