The Translator is now obtainable in FISCH, but only after collecting three different Translator Parts scattered across the world. These parts are obtained by fishing in three separate regions. Once all three are collected, they combine into the finished Translator, allowing you to communicate with Glorp, the alien at Rosit Bay.
How to Get the Translator in FISCH – Translator Location
Total Translator Parts Required
There are three total parts:
- Translator Core
- Translator Part (Ocean)
- Translator Part (Sunstone)
Each one comes from a different location and is obtained through random fishing drops.
Translator Core Location
The Translator Core is found by fishing at Rosit Bay.
This is the same area where Glorp’s UFO crashed.
How to get it:
• Go to Rosit Bay
• Fish anywhere in the water
• Keep fishing until the Translator Core randomly drops
There is no guaranteed timer or trigger; it is purely random luck.
Ocean Translator Part Location
The second Translator Part is located in the ocean, outside of Rosit Bay.
How to get it:
• Travel to any ocean-accessible area
• Fish in open ocean water
• Continue fishing until the Translator Part appears
This drop can happen anywhere in the ocean biome, not just specific spots.
Sunstone Island Translator Part Location
The third Translator Part is obtained at Sunstone Island.
How to get it:
• Head to Sunstone Island
• Fish anywhere on the island’s coast
• Stay consistent until the part drops
Like the others, the item is completely random, with no unique conditions.
Drop Rates and RNG Details
The drop chances for each part are fully random, and players may receive them quickly or after an extended time. There is no:
• Special bait requirement
• Special rod requirement
• Time-of-day requirement
• Item rarity boost needed
Just fish repeatedly until the system gives you the part.
Combining the Translator Parts
Once you collect all three items:
• They automatically combine into the Translator
• You can then speak with Glorp at Rosit Bay
• Alien quests and dialogues become accessible afterward
(If an NPC or crafting station is required in a later patch, I can add a follow-up guide.)
Tips to Speed Up the Process
• Use any rod with high progress speed for faster catches
• Stand in a safe spot to avoid interruptions
• Use boosts or gear that increase bite rate if available
• Stay in the same location—you don’t need to rotate zones
• Maintain inventory space so drops register properly
To get the Translator in FISCH, players must collect three Translator Parts by fishing at Rosit Bay, the Ocean, and Sunstone Island. Each part is a completely random fishing reward, so patience and persistence are required. After obtaining all three pieces, you can fully communicate with Glorp and access the alien-related content of the update.
