The Future Devil Contract is one of the most unique and powerful contracts in Devil Hunter, especially for players who enjoy counter-based combat and high-risk, high-reward playstyles. Unlocking it is not difficult, but it does require specific preparation, correct progression, and a clear understanding of how the contract system works.
This guide explains everything you need to know, step by step.
What Is the Future Devil Contract
The Future Devil Contract grants access to a special counter-style ability that triggers when you activate its Z skill. Instead of dealing raw damage directly, this move focuses on prediction, timing, and reactive punishment, making it extremely strong in both PvP and boss encounters when used properly.
The Future Devil also applies a debuff when granting the contract, meaning the power comes with a tradeoff. This mechanic fits perfectly with the game’s risk-versus-reward design.
Requirements to Unlock the Future Devil Contract
Before you can meet the Future Devil, you must meet two main conditions.
First, you must reach Senior Hunter Rank. This ensures that only progressed players can access this contract.
Second, you must collect thirty Eyes. These are special items that act as the offering for the Future Devil.
Eyes can be obtained in two main ways:
• Buying them from the Black Market whenever it refreshes
• Using Surgery Kits on other players
The Black Market method is the fastest and most consistent option for most players.
Where to Find the Future Devil
Once you meet the requirements, take the elevator and select Floor Zero. This hidden floor is not part of your normal mission route and is easy to miss if you do not know where to look.
After exiting the elevator, you will find the Future Devil waiting for you. Interacting with him will start the contract process.
How the Contract Trial Works
After giving the Future Devil your thirty Eyes, you will be forced into a rhythm-style minigame. This works similarly to timing-based reaction games, where you must hit correct inputs in sync with visual or audio prompts.
Completing this minigame successfully is mandatory. If you fail, you will not receive the contract and may need to repeat the offering process.
Once you clear the trial, the Future Devil will grant you his contract along with a random debuff.
Debuffs and Rerolling
Every Future Devil contract comes with a debuff. These debuffs reduce or alter certain stats or mechanics, depending on what you roll.
If you receive a debuff that does not fit your build, you are not permanently locked in. You can return later with another set of thirty Eyes to reroll your contract and attempt to get a more favorable debuff.
Because the Z counter skill is extremely powerful, even unfavorable debuffs are often still worth accepting for progression.
Why the Future Devil Contract Is Worth Getting
The Future Devil Contract introduces a reactive playstyle that allows you to punish enemies for attacking you. This is extremely effective in PvP, boss fights, and late-game content where enemy damage becomes very high.
It rewards skillful timing, positioning, and prediction rather than just raw stats, making it a favorite among experienced players.
