This guide explains the fastest and most reliable method to unlock Gojo’s Limitless or any Special-Grade cursed technique in Jujutsu Zero, even if you are a low-level beginner. Many new players make the mistake of chasing clans first, so it is important to understand how the system actually works before you start grinding.
Important Clarification – Clans Do NOT Unlock Techniques
Having the Gojo or Sukuna clan does not unlock Limitless or Sukuna’s innate technique.
Clans only provide stat bonuses and passives such as sorcery, offense, vitality, or cursed energy. The actual cursed techniques are obtained only through the Technique Banner. This means a level-15 beginner has the same chance of rolling Limitless as a max-level player, as long as they have enough Lumens.
Where to Roll Special-Grade Techniques
To roll cursed techniques, open the Technique Banner by clicking the icon located near the shop menu. This banner is the only place where innates like Limitless, Malevolent Shrine, and other Special-Grade techniques can be obtained.
Each roll costs Lumens, which is the main currency you will be farming.
Fastest Way to Get Lumens as a Beginner (Best Method)
The fastest early-game Lumen farming method is opening grade chests that spawn randomly across the map.
This method is extremely beginner-friendly and does not require combat strength, boss clears, or high levels.
Key points about grade chests:
- Any chest grade works (Grade 3, Grade 2, etc.)
- All grades can drop large amounts of Lumens
- Chests also drop Yen and useful items
- Spawn locations rotate across the map
Even low-tier chests can drop thousands of Lumens, making this method far better than early boss farming or quest grinding.
With efficient chest routing, it is possible to farm 15,000–16,000 Lumens in 30 to 60 minutes, even at very low levels.
How Many Lumens Do You Need
A good beginner target is 15,000 to 20,000 Lumens.
This allows you to:
- Perform multiple 10-pulls
- Make progress toward the pity system
- Potentially obtain a Grade 1 or Special-Grade technique
Do not rush rolls with small amounts. Farming in bulk is far more efficient.
How the Technique Banner Works
The Technique Banner includes more than just cursed techniques.
Possible rewards include:
- Innate cursed techniques
- XP boost items (similar to EXP potions)
- Upgrade materials
Because of this, not every pull will be a technique, which is normal. The banner also includes a pity system, meaning higher-rarity techniques are guaranteed after enough failed attempts. This prevents endless bad luck and makes long-term farming worthwhile.
Best Rolling Strategy for Beginners
Always follow these rules:
- Save Lumens and roll in batches
- Prefer 10-pulls over single pulls
- Stop rolling once you get a strong Grade 1 technique early
- Resume farming before chasing Special-Grade techniques again
Even a strong Grade 1 technique, such as Star Rage, can massively speed up early progression and make future Lumen farming easier.
How to Equip Your Technique
After rolling a technique:
- Open your inventory
- Go to the Innates / Techniques section
- Equip the technique you unlocked
Once equipped, it immediately becomes usable in combat.
When to Stop Farming and Start Progressing
If you are very low level, it is smart to pause technique farming once you get a strong usable technique. Progressing through levels unlocks better mobility, survivability, and farming speed. You can always return later to farm more Lumens once your build is stronger.
