The Beanstalk Event is one of the biggest community-driven updates in Grow a Garden. Running for a limited time, it challenges players to work together to grow a massive magical beanstalk, unlock exclusive rewards, and explore hidden islands. If you’re wondering how to finish the event quickly and efficiently, this guide has everything you need.

Step 1: Contribute to Growing the Beanstalk

The core of the event is feeding the Beanstalk. Every hour, the NPC will request a specific category of plants (like prickly, fruity, or woody plants).

  • Gather plants that match the request.
  • Contribute them to the Beanstalk.
  • Each full growth cycle pushes the Beanstalk higher toward the sky.

To complete the event, you need to help grow the Beanstalk six separate times. This doesn’t mean putting in six plants at once—it requires six different growth contributions across multiple cycles.

Step 2: Unlock the Portals

As the Beanstalk grows taller, it unlocks special portals that lead to new areas:

  1. The Floating Island – An area with lore items like books and decorations.
  2. The Goliath’s Shop – Found at the very top, where you can trade the new event currency (Sheckles) for exclusive seeds, pets, and items.

You’ll also find a limited-time Fence Skin reward (the Green Bean Fence) that can be claimed during the event.

Step 3: Trade at Goliath’s Goods

Once you reach the summit, you’ll meet the NPC Goliath. His shop refreshes automatically every 60 minutes, and you can manually restock it with Sheckles (though the price doubles each time).

Here you can buy:

  • Sprout Seeds & Eggs
  • New Event Pets like the Golden Goose
  • Exclusive Plants such as Amberheart and Canary Melon
  • Cosmetic and utility items like fertilizers

This shop is the main way to collect the event-limited items.

Step 4: Don’t Forget the Leaderboards

The event also introduces a new leaderboard system that tracks contributions. The more you help, the higher you’ll rank. Active players have a shot at recognition and bragging rights, so it’s worth participating often.

Tips for Beating the Beanstalk Event Fast

  • Bookmark a plant list – Keep track of which plants count for categories (like prickly plants). This saves time when contributing.
  • Farm in advance – Collect extras of common plants before each hourly request.
  • Play with friends – A server with more contributors grows the Beanstalk faster.
  • Check the shop often – Some rare seeds and pets may rotate out before you see them again.

The Beanstalk Event isn’t just about farming; it’s about teamwork. By contributing plants, climbing the Beanstalk, and trading with Goliath, you’ll unlock powerful new seeds, pets, and cosmetics. Make sure to take part before the event ends, or you’ll miss out on exclusive rewards like the Golden Goose and the Green Bean Fence skin.
