Requirements to Unlock Blazing Courage
Before you can even think about grabbing Blazing Courage, make sure you meet these two requirements:
- Be Grade 2
- Find and enter the Castle in the Desert region (near Oasis)
Getting to the castle is the first real challenge, so let’s start there.
How to Reach the Castle (Blazing Courage Location)
- Head to the Oasis/Desert area.
- Look around for a tall stone platform with a skull on it.
- Once you spot the skull, go left of it. You’re looking for a massive, slightly hidden castle structure in the distance.
If you’ve ever fought Demon Face (boss), this route will be familiar:
- From Demon Face’s area, turn around and go straight—the castle is surprisingly close by.
Once you arrive, you’ll find a bunch of hostile enemies guarding the entrance, including samurai, which you’ll need for the upcoming quest.
The Blazing Courage Quest
Speak to the NPC near the castle (Toyo/Toyotomi). He’ll give you a progression quest:
Objective:
- Defeat 5 Samurai
- Defeat 1 Vice Captain
- Defeat 1 Captain
Important: These kills must happen after accepting the quest. Any progress made beforehand won’t count!
Where to Find the Required Enemies
Samurai
- Found in front of the castle entrance and within the castle area.
- Easy to identify; standard armored enemies with swords.
- You’ll need to defeat five of them.
Captain
- The Captain stands at the castle gate, usually accompanied by other samurai.
- He’s stronger, so be ready for a real fight.
- Defeat him as part of your quest.
Vice Captain
- Look for an enemy wearing red armor inside the castle.
- He’ll usually be standing near the entrance area.
- Once you kill the Vice Captain, you’ll be nearly done.
Before Entering the Inner Castle
There’s one last step before you head into the final room to unlock Blazing Courage.
✅ Go to the pile of ads (a glowing item pile near the entrance) and interact with it.
This step unlocks the final building where you’ll challenge Toyotomi.

- He’s not too difficult if you’re prepared.
