Hello everyone! Here, I’ll give some GFL 2 Exilium Deichgraf Guide and tips to fight the weekly boss, Deichgraf until stage 3 (current max stage so far). There will be an update once I try stage 4 or 5 or redo stage 3 to get max points, but here’s how I do it really, really slowly.
Squads!
Be noted that when I do the boss, I’m at level 28. So do my dolls, minus the attachments since I haven’t farmed them yet.
The main squad is as follows:
- Cheeta, as healer and buff (cuz she heals after attacking)
- Ksenia, as emergency armour and healer (also she gain self-sustain after using her ult)
- Groza, as armour and counterattacker (also her debuff are nice)
- Mosin Nagant, as the main dps (cuz extra attack on phase break is awesome)
You can mix and match based on what 5-star dolls that you have. Since i got Mosin Nagant from beginner pulls (And Vepley dupe on standard, dang it), i’ll just utilize her. As long they’re on the max level that you could (level 28 for me), along with weapons and neural helix, you should good to go.
Now the question: Why 2 sustains? 3 even, if you count Groza as sustain too.
Because onthe Tier 3 challenge, there will be 2 Standard armour aka Supply Boxes, which YOU SHOULD PREVENT DEICHGRAF FROM HITTING IT. Even only a single hit on it will grant a buff to the boss which will make your run even more miserable. Just use rewind if the boss gains the buff.
Gimmick
The boss attack pattern will alternate between what I call the “Hunting Phase” and “Clearing Phase”. They will happen alternately, starting with the Hunting Phase on turn 1. Details are as follows
A. Hunting Phase
As stated above, there’s a thing called Supply Box. If the box is on the field, the boss will launch a “Command” attack to destroy it, giving him ATK and Damage Reduction. To prevent this, you should place a doll directly in front of the boss or a direct line between the boss and the box. Remember to only USE 1 DOLL in its range (the picture will give you range) because the boss will deal equal damage to all dolls within the range. In tier 3 there will be 2 boxes, so manage your doll’s hp carefully.
B. Clearing Phase
In this turn, the boss will use the “Cross Prison” attack, which will deal massive damage to all dolls in a cross-cross-shaped area. It won’t chase anybody, so just move away and regroup your dolls so you can use your area buffs.
Strategy.
The strategy is simple. Manage its attack that aims nearest and furthest ally (that attack will always happen every turn), prevent him from getting boxes, and you’re done! Even with this ‘low-powered’ squad, I can still get 10k points. Easy Peasy!
What if I use this doll instead?
Yes, you can mix and match that easily. Cheeta is still a must in my opinion, since her Action Support and healing are pretty good.
If you have Suomi, you can swap out Ksenia and Groza, and get another dps (Sharkry, QJ, or Tololo).
SPAS? Um, she can tank I guess. Swap Groza then.
Vepley? Nah, she’s good at clearing mobs. Not so much on bossing I think. The Cat is also the same unless maybe you want to do some follow-up attack after AoE skill, feel free to test it out.
Just try it! The sky is the limit!
