The Slap Battles Halloween Update brings back two fan-favorite spooky gloves — Poltergeist and Necromancer. Both are limited-time event gloves that can only be obtained during the Halloween period, so don’t wait too long to grab them. This guide covers how to unlock both gloves step-by-step, including locations, requirements, and event tips.
1. How to Get the Poltergeist Glove
The Poltergeist Glove has returned this Halloween with a reworked obtainment process, making it more structured and fun. Here’s exactly how to unlock it:
Step 1: Go to the Default Only Area
Start by entering the Default Only area on the main island.
You’ll find this zone near the event portals in the lobby. It’s easy to spot since it’s marked specifically for default players.
Step 2: Complete the Obby
Once inside, you’ll see a mini obby (obstacle course).
Complete the obby to proceed to the next stage. The course is simple and doesn’t require any special gloves or abilities — just patience and timing.
Step 3: Wait for the Timer
After finishing the obby, you’ll reach a waiting island with a timer.
You must wait around 10 minutes until the timer reaches zero.
It’s important not to leave the island during this time — otherwise, your progress won’t count.
Step 4: Survive the Raid
When the timer hits zero, you’ll be teleported into a raid event.
You must survive 10 rounds of attacks or enemy waves.
Work together with other players if possible — teamwork makes survival much easier.
Step 5: Claim Your Reward
After surviving all 10 rounds, you’ll automatically receive The Poltergeist Badge.
Once the badge is earned, the Poltergeist Glove will be unlocked and ready to use in your inventory.
Tip: The Poltergeist is a limited-time Halloween glove, so make sure to get it before the event ends.
2. How to Get the Necromancer Glove
The Necromancer Glove focuses on Halloween’s collectible side — specifically, the Candy Corn mechanic.
Step 1: Collect Candy Corn
During the Halloween event, you can collect Candy Corn scattered across the map.
Candy Corn drops from:
Event bosses or enemies
Random Halloween crates
Certain mini-games or interactions in the event areas
Step 2: Reach 2,000 Candy Corn
To unlock the glove, you need to collect a total of 2,000 Candy Corn.
There’s no trick or shortcut here — just keep playing the event modes and gathering Candy Corn as much as possible.
Step 3: Earn the “Sweet Tooth Sovereign” Badge
Once you’ve reached 2,000 Candy Corn, you’ll automatically be awarded the Sweet Tooth Sovereign Badge.
This badge acts as the unlock key for the glove.
Step 4: Equip the Necromancer Glove
After obtaining the badge, head to the Glove Stand area in the lobby.
You’ll now see Necromancer available for selection.
Equip it and try out its spooky ability in matches — it’s one of the most visually unique gloves in the event.
Both Poltergeist and Necromancer are limited-time Halloween gloves — once the event ends, they’ll no longer be obtainable until next year. If you’re aiming to complete your Slap Battles glove collection, this is the perfect time to jump in.
Stay tuned — the developers have confirmed a portal rework update coming soon, which will make event glove unlocking even smoother and more in line with boss fights.
