The long-awaited 1x1x1x1 rework has finally landed in Forsaken, and it is much bigger than a simple visual update. This patch completely reshapes how 1x1x1x1 looks, feels, and plays, while also quietly upgrading several other killers, skins, and animations across the game. If you only skim the patch notes, you will miss most of the important changes. This guide explains everything that actually changed and why it matters.
1x1x1x1 Killer Rework (Core Changes)
The base 1x1x1x1 model has been fully redesigned. The new version features a darker, more detailed body, added armor pieces, wristbands, shoulder pads, and a flowing cape that makes the killer look far more imposing in motion. The overall silhouette is larger and more threatening, especially during chase animations.
Ability-wise, most skills remain familiar but feel smoother and more responsive. Mass Infection now has a quicker wind-up, making it easier to land under pressure. Entanglement received the most meaningful gameplay change, as it now pulls survivors directly toward 1x1x1x1 instead of just stunning them at range. The stun duration appears slightly shorter, but the positional advantage gained from dragging survivors in more than compensates for that.
Other abilities like Unstable Eye and Rejuvenate the Rotten remain mechanically similar, though animation polish makes them feel cleaner in actual matches.
New 1x1x1x1 Skins Added
Two major skins were added alongside the rework.
The Primordial 1x1x1x1 skin is essentially the original classic version of the killer before the overhaul. It preserves the old model and animations, making it a nostalgia option for long-time players who prefer the original look.
The Pestilence 1x1x1x1 skin is entirely new and one of the standout additions in the update. This skin transforms 1x1x1x1 into a plague-doctor-inspired killer with syringe blades, injector weapons, custom voice lines, and unique animations.
The kill animations are fully custom, including syringe executions and unique Shellski interactions. Even Rejuvenate the Rotten summons plague-themed minions instead of standard ones, making this skin feel like a semi-new killer rather than a cosmetic swap.
Updated Legacy 1x1x1x1 Skins
Several older 1x1x1x1 skins were visually updated to match the new base model proportions. These updates are cosmetic only, but they significantly improve consistency across the skin lineup.
Updated skins include Evil Green Skeleton, 16th Night, Pride, Fleshed Jerka, Jack Frost, Infernum, Monochrome, Alumina, Betrayed, and Yourself. These skins now properly align with the new animations, wristbands, and armor pieces introduced in the rework.
Gluttony Naseratu Skin Rework
The Gluttony version of Naseratu received a visual overhaul after community backlash from the previous update. The skin now features a redesigned face, improved bat ears, better stomach-mouth detailing, leg-mouth visuals, red vein effects, and fully realized wings.
While the abilities and kill mechanics remain unchanged, the skin now looks far more menacing and polished, finally matching its intended horror theme.
John Doe Animation Improvements
John Doe received multiple levels of animation updates.
The base John Doe and Screamer variants now feature smoother, cleaner animations across basic movement and abilities. While no new abilities were added, the improved flow makes these versions feel less stiff during gameplay.
The Living Legend John Doe skin received a much more significant upgrade. This includes a new intro animation, enhanced visual effects on abilities, glitch-heavy skill wind-ups, new sound effects, and a completely new kill animation. Digital Footprint, Corrupt Energy, and Error 404 all feature more aggressive visual feedback, making this skin feel substantially more dangerous and cinematic.
Artful Nollie New Kill Animation
Artful Nollie gained a brand-new kill animation that randomly transforms victims into objects such as rubber ducks or banana peels. The randomness adds a surreal, chaotic tone to the skin and makes each execution unpredictable. No ability changes were made, but the new kill animation alone makes this skin far more memorable.
Slasher Milestone 3 and 4 Reworks
Both Milestone 3 and Milestone 4 Slasher skins received extensive animation reworks focused on abilities.
Behead now features a full spinning execution motion. Gashing Wound has been completely redesigned into a multi-hit combo that punches, stabs, and launches survivors. Raging Pace involves the slasher stabbing themselves to trigger the buff, followed by a brutal punch-based attack.
Milestone 4 mirrors these animations with upgraded weapon visuals, maintaining consistency while increasing visual impact. Custom guest kill animations were also added for milestone skins, further separating them from the base Slasher experience.
New Character Renders
Many killers and skins across Forsaken received updated renders for menus and selection screens. Characters like Herobrine, Horse, Cool Kid, Guest, 1x1x1x1, and Naseratu now display higher-quality artwork that better reflects their in-game models. These changes are subtle but help modernize the overall presentation of the game.
Party Slasher Returns
The Party Slasher skin, which was accidentally removed in a previous update, has officially been restored. No major animation changes were made, but its return resolves one of the most complained-about issues from the community.
This update is not just a rework of 1x1x1x1. It is a large-scale polish pass across Forsaken that improves animation quality, visual consistency, and killer identity. Pestilence 1x1x1x1 and Living Legend John Doe stand out as the biggest winners, while Slasher milestone skins now feel dramatically more impactful in gameplay.
