The Shamrock Seas update brings a full St. Patrick’s Day event to Fisch, packed with quests, limited fish, rare collectibles, and several new mechanics. At first glance the update can feel overwhelming because there are many systems running at the same time. Boats move across the map, clovers spawn randomly, rainbow events appear, and a huge list of quests is tied to all of them.

The good news is that once you understand how the different pieces connect, completing the event becomes much easier.

This guide walks through everything included in the update and explains how to progress through the event step by step.

Fisch Shamrock Seas Guide – How to Catch All Fish

The St. Patrick’s event is only available for one week, which means everything tied to it is limited-time content. During this period the entire lobby and map receive themed decorations, and several new mechanics become active.

The main features of the event include:

  • The Shamrock Express quest boat
  • Randomly spawning Natural Clovers
  • The Rainbow Event and Pot of Gold rewards
  • The Clover Storm event
  • Returning Lucky Chests
  • Limited-time Shamrock Hunt fish
  • Special event quests and rewards

Most of the progression during the event comes from completing quests and interacting with these new mechanics.

The Shamrock Express – Main Quest Hub

One of the most important parts of the update is the Shamrock Express.

This is a large boat that sails around the entire ocean instead of staying in one fixed location. You will need to travel around the sea until you find it.

Once you board the boat, you will notice several NPCs waiting there. These characters give different quests related to the event.

Most of the rewards from the St. Patrick’s update come from completing these quests.

Some of the tasks include:

  • Catching special Shamrock fish
  • Finding clovers around the map
  • Turning in rare catches
  • Participating in event hunts

The Shamrock Express essentially acts as the main progression system for the event.

Natural Clovers – A Key Event Collectible

While exploring the map you may notice small four-leaf clovers appearing on grassy islands.

These are called Natural Clovers and they spawn randomly across islands with green grass.

Important details about Natural Clovers:

  • They spawn rarely on grassy islands
  • They can be picked up and stored
  • They provide luck bonuses

Some quests will require you to collect clovers, while others simply benefit from the increased luck they provide.

Because they spawn randomly, it is a good idea to explore different islands frequently during the event.

Rainbow Event and Pots of Gold

Another major mechanic introduced during the update is the Rainbow Event.

Occasionally a rainbow appears somewhere across the map. At the end of the rainbow you will find a small island with Pots of Gold.

You can interact with these pots to claim rewards.

Each pot typically gives:

  • Event currency
  • Gold coins
  • Other useful resources

However, multiple players can reach the rainbow location at the same time, so there is often competition to collect the pots before they disappear.

Once all pots are claimed, something interesting happens.

The island disappears and the location becomes a special fishing area.

This area contains the St. Patrick’s event fish, including the well-known Rainbow Leviathan.

Lucky Chests Return

The update also brings back Lucky Chests, which appear when sunken chests surface from the sea.

These chests function similarly to treasure rewards from previous updates, but they now have event-themed drops.

Players exploring the ocean should keep an eye out for floating chests because they may contain valuable event items.

The Lucky Appraiser

During the event there is also a Lucky Appraiser NPC available near Moosewood.

This character allows players to interact with event mechanics and potentially improve certain rewards. The appraiser is only available during the St. Patrick’s event, so any features connected to it are temporary.

If you are focusing on maximizing luck-based fishing during the event, visiting this NPC can be useful.

The Clover Storm Event

Another special mechanic introduced during the update is the Clover Storm.

When this event activates, clovers begin falling across the server and luck increases dramatically for everyone.

During Clover Storm events it becomes significantly easier to catch rare fish, which makes it a perfect time to attempt difficult catches or hunt for event creatures.

Players who want to progress faster through event quests should take advantage of this event whenever it appears.

Shamrock Hunt Fish

The update also introduces Shamrock Hunt variants of several powerful sea creatures.

Normally hunts can spawn creatures such as:

  • Megalodon
  • Kraken
  • Leviathan
  • Bloopfish
  • Sila

During the event, these hunts have a chance to spawn a Shamrock version instead.

These versions have a unique appearance and are often required for event quests.

Many players focus heavily on hunts during the event because several quests depend on these special variants.

Finding Snow in Boreal Pines

Another interesting part of the update involves Snow, a returning character connected to the event.

Snow can be found somewhere in Boreal Pines, located near the Northern Expedition region.

This means players must travel through the northern areas of the map to locate him.

Snow offers additional content tied to the event, so players exploring the full St. Patrick’s update should make sure to visit Boreal Pines and see what he is doing there.

How to Progress Through the Event Efficiently

Since the update includes several different mechanics, the best way to complete it is to focus on them in a logical order.

Start by locating the Shamrock Express and accepting the available quests.

While exploring the map, collect Natural Clovers whenever you see them. These provide luck bonuses and may also be needed for certain tasks.

Whenever a Rainbow Event appears, travel there immediately to collect Pots of Gold and fish in the event area afterward.

Participate in hunts as often as possible, especially if they spawn Shamrock variants.

Finally, keep an eye out for Clover Storm events, because they significantly increase your chances of catching rare fish.

The St. Patrick’s update in Fisch focuses heavily on exploration and event participation. Instead of a single questline, the update spreads progress across several different activities.

You will be collecting clovers, chasing rainbows, completing quests on a moving boat, and hunting rare creatures across the sea.

It might feel chaotic at first, but that is also what makes the event fun. Each mechanic feeds into another, and before long you will start unlocking rewards simply by participating in everything happening around the map.

If you stay active during rainbow events, collect clovers whenever you see them, and complete the Shamrock Express quests, you will eventually finish the entire Shamrock Seas event before it disappears.
