Fisch just rolled out its New Year celebration update, and while it looks small on the surface, it actually gives you one of the best limited-time farming windows we have had in a long time. Between the hourly event pool, the New Year rod, and the new spin system, there is a lot of easy loot waiting for anyone who shows up on time.
Here is everything you need to know so you can grab the best rewards before the event disappears.
Fisch Roblox New Year Event– Fireworks, Rod & Rewards
Where the New Year Event Starts
Head over to Moosewood and look on the left side of the map. You will find a brand-new NPC standing next to a cart filled with fireworks and event items. This NPC is the main hub for the entire New Year update.
Fireworks Shop Explained
The cart sells multiple types of fireworks with different prices and visual effects. The most expensive option is the Rocket firework.
Rocket Firework
Price: 202,000 per firework
Buying 50 costs roughly 10 million coins
This firework creates the largest explosion and lasts the longest. It is purely cosmetic, but if you care about visuals during midnight, this is the one everyone uses.
New Year Rod – Stats and Passive
Right behind the cart, you can buy the limited New Year Rod for 20,260 coins, which is a fun nod to the year 2026.
Rod Stats:
- 26% Lure Speed
- 126% Luck
- 0.26 Control
- 26% Resilience
- 26,000 Max KG
- +26 Progress Speed
Passive Effect:
The rod has a 15% chance to apply the New Year mutation to any fish you catch. This makes it a solid collector rod and worth buying even if you already own higher-tier rods.
Hourly Event Pool – The Real Highlight
Near the NPC cart you will see a glowing pool with “2026” floating above it and a countdown timer.
This pool opens once every hour leading up to New Year’s midnight.
When it opens:
- It stays open for 5 minutes
- You can catch any fish from the New Year Bestiary
- Fish are almost guaranteed to appear
- Even mid-tier rods can farm it easily
The pool opens a total of 11 times due to a short update delay.
The final opening at midnight is special:
- It lasts 26 minutes
- It has a 26x Luck multiplier
- This is the easiest window to collect everything you are missing
Best Fish to Target – Eon Shell
The most wanted fish from this event is the Eon Shell.
It is the only New Year fish with a preferred bait.
Preferred Bait: Truffleworm
If you want to complete your New Year Bestiary, focus on farming this fish during the final midnight pool.
New Year Express – New Spin System
The old Robux-only spin system has been completely replaced.
You now use Bells instead of Robux.
How to get Bells:
- Go to Fishmiss Village
- Fish and sell there to earn Bells
- Complete quests for bonus Bells
- You can teleport there using the Snow Globe
Once you have Bells, you can spin for limited New Year rewards.
New Year Express Rewards
Possible rewards include:

- Balloon Doggy Bobber
- Balloon Doggy Rod Skin
- Fire Rocket Racer Boat
- Athereum Skin for Seraphic Rod

The Fire Rocket Racer is one of the coolest event boats. It has:
- 210 Speed
- 85 Steering
- 0.67 Acceleration
- Two seats
- Fun animation effects while moving

Buy the New Year Rod even if you do not need it. The mutation passive makes it a great collector item.
