This is not a cosmetic-only update. This one directly affects your fishing efficiency, loot odds, and long-term account power
Fisch Colossal Dragon Update Guide – Mastery, Skin Crates
Astria Serenade Mastery – New Progression System
A brand new mastery system has been added around the Astria Serenade rod, giving players a long-term progression path that leads to a stronger upgraded version of the rod.
The Firefly entity plays a major role in mastery progression. Interacting with it correctly can speed up your grind and help you unlock the empowered version of Astria Serenade much faster. If you ignore Firefly while grinding, you are slowing your progress without realizing it.
This mastery system introduces a true endgame grind and finally gives veteran players something meaningful to work toward.
True Fish Chance Indicator
After every catch, you can now see the real drop chance of the fish you pulled. This removes guesswork and lets you accurately track rarity instead of relying on assumptions.
You can toggle this feature inside the Fish Chance settings. It is one of the most useful quality-of-life changes the game has ever received and helps players properly evaluate which fishing routes are actually worth grinding.
Skin Crates Have Returned
Skin crates are back in the sea and can now be found again while fishing. For now, they appear as world drops, but they are expected to move into a shop system later along with new crate types and additional rewards.
This makes the current crate spawns especially valuable because they offer early access to skins that may become shop-locked later.
Console Quality of Life Improvements
Console players finally received a full usability pass.
Menus now automatically enable virtual cursor navigation.
Extra keybind options have been added.
Controller handling inside menus is smoother and faster.
These changes massively improve comfort for console players and remove many of the frustrations that existed before.
OG Christmas Skins – Limited Time Only
If you are an original owner of the Haunted Rod or Chrysalis, you can now claim exclusive OG skins simply by logging in.
These skins are only available until January 25, so make sure you log in before the deadline or you permanently miss them.
Colossal Dragon Hunt Totem
A brand new Colossal Dragon Hunt Totem has been added. This item allows you to manually summon any Colossal Dragon Hunt, as long as no Colossal Dragon event is currently active.
You can buy this totem from the Daily Shop, making it one of the most important shop items to check for every day.
This totem gives players real control over one of the rarest and most valuable hunts in the game.
Black Market Update
The Black Market now opens all weekend at the underground music venue and includes new items such as the Pogo Stick along with other limited rewards.
Returning Legacy Rods
Several previously unavailable rods can now be obtained again through new methods:
Firefly Rod
Frog Rod
Azure of Lagoon
Verdenir Rod
Blazebringer Rod
Free Spirit Rod
If you missed any of these before, this update finally gives you another chance to complete your collection.
Free Code – Do Not Skip
Use the code:
TRADE_REVAMP_SOON
This code gives you a free skin and a Colossal Dragon Hunt Totem, which is one of the strongest free rewards Fisch has ever given out.
This update adds real endgame progression, brings back powerful legacy rods, introduces hunt control mechanics, and dramatically improves quality-of-life across all platforms. It is one of the most impactful Fisch updates so far and a perfect time to jump back into grinding.
