Welcome to the Borderlands 4 Interactive Map, your complete companion for navigating the planets and chaos zones in Gearbox’s latest looter-shooter. Whether you’re chasing legendary loot, farming world bosses, or looking to finish all challenges for 100% completion — this map was built to guide your journey efficiently.

Interactive Map (Preview Image)

Full embedded version coming soon. Below is a reference screenshot pulled from the official Steam-based project used with permission.

Map
WIP – Final interactive layers with filters coming soon.

What This Map Covers

This interactive map is structured to give players a clear view of every important point of interest in Borderlands 4, including:

  • Boss spawn locations and farming loops
  • Red chest and loot crate spawns
  • Fast travel points, vendor hubs, and Catch-A-Ride stations
  • Vault Symbols and Echo Logs
  • Collectibles, lore markers, and side mission NPCs
  • Claptrap mission targets and Black Market vendors
  • Full regional outlines for each planet and endgame vault

All layers are designed for quick toggling and zoom, and will be expanded with DLC zones and additional filters over time.

How to Use the Map

Zoom and Pan

  • Scroll in/out or use zoom level controls for precise navigation.
  • Starts at galactic level (zoom 1), goes down to zone-specific detail (zoom 6).

Layer Toggle

  • Use the legend panel (top-right) to turn filters on/off.
  • Groups include Bosses, Chests, Echo Logs, Zones, and Vendors.

Search Bar

  • Find a specific boss, NPC, or item name using built-in search.
  • Great for looking up locations tied to achievements or quests.

Tile Accuracy

  • Custom map tiles will be updated to reflect in-game terrain and borders exactly.
  • Current version uses placeholder visuals while polish is in progress.

Mobile Optimization

  • Fully usable on both iOS and Android devices.
  • Landscape mode recommended for high zoom levels on mobile.

Icon & Legend Reference

Here’s what each filter category means and how to use it effectively:

Boss Locations

Icon: Skull

  • All major campaign, optional, and world bosses.
  • Use this to track legendary drop paths and respawn timers.

Red Chests & Loot Crates

Icons: Red chest and basic crate

  • Red chests contain rare gear and currency.
  • Many are hidden behind puzzles, enemy waves, or time-based doors.
  • Basic crates contain ammo, shields, or green-tier gear.

Example Zone Setup (Placeholder)

Once the live map is fully functional, it will be divided by color-coded regions and planets. Here’s a sample of how it will be structured:

  • Dominion City (Urban hub, purple outline)
  • Carcadia Burn (Desert zone, orange outline)
  • The Fadefields (Psychedelic biome, blue outline)
  • Primordial Vaults (Endgame vaults, red outline)

Each region will have:

  • Interactive pins
  • Unique POI labels
  • Zone toggle support
  • Hoverable tooltips

Future Additions

  • Filter toggle for completed vs. incomplete objectives
  • Custom route builder (drag-to-path system)
  • DLC-specific maps (expected post-November 2025)
  • Exportable checklist (PDF and Google Sheets versions)

This guide will continue to evolve with the map itself. If you’re aiming for full achievement unlocks — including Ruler of Everything, Pop Out, and Useful Citizen — keeping this map open in a second tab or mobile screen will drastically speed up your progress.
