The devs have released a massive Quality of Life + Rebalance Blue Lock Rivals Move Rework Update. With over 60 bug fixes, tweaks to nearly every character, and an overhaul of balance philosophy, this patch is designed to even the playing field.
The only “outrageous” nerf called out by the devs? NEL Nagi — and for good reason. Let’s dive into the full breakdown.
Blue Lock Rivals Move Rework Update – Codes, Buffs, Nerf
General Changes
Kickoff: Abilities are now disabled for 3 seconds during kickoff, preventing instant cheese plays.
Bug Fixes: Over 60+ bugs squashed, including animation issues, cooldown inconsistencies, and skill glitches.
Balance Goal: The devs are aiming to normalize styles so they feel fair across classes. Overpowered half-field shots and infinite loops have been tuned down.
Character Adjustments
Shidou
- Dragon Header: +7% shot power.
Yukimiya
- Gyro Shot: –15% power, cooldown set to 60 seconds.
King
- Predator Shot: Slight power decrease.
- Reason: Too many half-field shots were overwhelming balance.
Kunigami
- Power Shot: Slight power decrease.
- Body Block: Cooldown reduced by 10s (less annoying, but now more usable).
Aiku
- Base kit reverted to original Aiku.
- Reason: Current moveset underwhelming.
Nel Reo

- Trivela Shot: –10% shot power.
Kaiser
- Kaiser Impact: +5% range.
Nel Rin
- Destroyer Domain/Shot: Replaced with OG Curve Shot.
- Annihilate: –15% power.
- Reason: Domain was oppressive, curve shot was fun and balanced.
Nel Isagi
- Lefty Shot: Removed endlag for smoother play.
Don Lorenzo
- Zombie Dash (off the ball): Now steals if used on a ball-holder, but can be ankle broken.
Sae
- Creative Dribble/Dash: –10% distance.
- Off Balance: Can now be dribbled.
- Perfect Pass: Range capped at 80% of field.
- Beautiful Shot: Freely usable (no teammate required).
- Divine Destruction: Fixed.
Charles
- Contrarian Dribble: –15% distance.
- Sky Arc Pass & Contrarian Pass: Range capped at 75%.
- Rabona Cross: Requires a teammate in the box.

- Lob Pass: Slight range increase.
- Bunny Hop: –2s duration.
- Rabbit Trap: Fixed.
NEL Nagi & McNagi – The Nerf of Doom
This is the biggest nerf pass of the patch, dismantling Nagi’s dominance:
- Awakening Cutscenes: Goalkeepers won’t see Nagi cutscenes.
- Trap: No more infinite trap or skill usage during trap.
- Trap Shot: –15% shot power.
- Zero Reset Turn: Removed ragdoll, reduced distance, fixed trap dance bug.
- Trap Dance: Reduced hitbox.
- Juggling Feint: Reduced distance.
- Juggling Shot: –10% power.
- Reverse 2 Stage: Removed.
- Death Dance: Can’t score from full field anymore; power reduced.
- Space Shot / Two Stage Volley / Tap Lift: Power reduced, normalized with other WC awakening shots.
- Five Stage Revolver Shot: Reduced power but remains his strongest awakening goal.
Impact: Nagi is no longer the uncontested king. He’s still viable but far less oppressive.
Loki
- Godspeed Dash (Trap Variant): Removed.
- Gear Shift: Stamina consumption slightly reduced.
Lavinho
- Custom dribble animation added.
- Ginga Shot: –10% power.
- Ginga Style: All three charges now have iframes.
- Butterfly Dribble: Faster.
- Butterfly Dance: Restricted to opponent’s goal box.
Bee Freestyle
- Reduced from 3 dribbles → 2 dribbles (mythic flow toned down).
Destructive Impulses
- Reduced base shot power.
- Removed extra tackles (didn’t make sense for balance).
Target Man
- Volley buff halved.
- Header Strength reduced from 50% → 30%.

This patch is one of the most important in Blue Lock: Rivals history. With NEL Nagi finally dethroned, Ren returning to his OG curve shot, and half-field shots scaled back across the board, the game’s meta should feel fresher and more balanced.
For casual players, the kickoff cooldown and bug fixes make matches smoother. For competitive grinders, this is the rebalance that resets the tier list.
