How to Complete the Thanksgiving Quest
Each step is directly tied to Kunigami’s skillset, and knowing how these abilities function will make the quest much easier to clear.
Stop Ten Players with Heroic Clash
Heroic Clash is your primary control tool. Focus on situations where opponents are dribbling toward goal or making predictable approaches. Position yourself slightly ahead of their path and trigger the clash the moment they commit forward.
Score Five Goals with Lefty Shot
Lefty Shot is straightforward, but requires smart positioning. Create angles that force defenders to cover your right side, then quickly shift to your left to release the shot. Prioritize open spaces rather than forcing long-range attempts.
Land the Flow Variant of Heroic Clash
To complete this target, wait for a player whose decision-making becomes too linear or aggressive. The Flow Variant rewards timing and prediction. Read their momentum, step into their route, and trigger the clash just as they overextend.
Score with Demon’s Contract
Demon’s Contract activates during high-pressure transitions. Build momentum, push into the penalty area, and ensure your final touch aligns with a clean angle before activating the finisher. Finish the play in a way that reflects Kunigami’s superhero-like flair.
Steal the Ball Using Hero’s Instinct
Hero’s Instinct activates when your opponent’s rhythm becomes easy to read. Look for telegraphed passes or repetitive dribble patterns and attack the moment a gap opens.
Use Justice Header to Knock Away the Ball
This is a defensive utility step. Track incoming crosses or lofted balls and challenge them early with Justice Header. Prioritize timing over height to ensure you interrupt the ball before your opponent can take control.
Final Matchup: Rin and Sae Improvements
The Final Matchup sequence has been reworked to match the intensity and presentation found in the original episode. Several audio and visual elements have been restructured for consistency and immersion.
The scene no longer triggers the previous voice lines and themes when Overtime flow activates. Instead, the cinematic now hides the core UI components such as the leaderboard and chat, letting players focus entirely on the sequence. Subtitles and dedicated FINAL MATCHUP text have been added to keep the experience accurate to the source material.
There is also a new synergy involving Isagi. If an Isagi with full flow is on the winning side during Final Matchup, they will automatically perform the U20 Direct Shot. This guarantees an autogoal and forces the MVP to U20 for that match. The goal also counts toward Isagi’s Rebirth progression, making this interaction extremely valuable for anyone completing his questline.

A large wave of new emotes has been released, giving players more expressive tools for matches and replays. The list includes styles like Objection, Garou Slide, Cero, Observant, and several character-themed animations.

General Changes to Server Management
Server navigation has been greatly improved. The Server List has returned, and now automatically filters results based on your continent. This ensures you see the lowest-latency options first. It refreshes every thirty seconds, and delays only increase when updates fail, resetting once a successful fetch occurs.
A new Gamemode Filter lets you refine what servers you want to view. You can toggle between 11v11 and Modifiers independently or search both at the same time. With Quick Join, the game automatically searches for servers in your region that match your mode preference and have open spots. If none fit the criteria, it creates a fresh server.
Sae Balance Adjustments
Sae’s interactions have been expanded around Reflex Rabona Nutmeg and Beautiful Destruction. The Rabona Nutmeg can now reset Beautiful Destruction’s cooldown, but doing so consumes twenty flow. Reuses triggered this way cannot occur if the previous Beautiful Destruction was already used in certain directions.
When the reset is applied, the follow-up Beautiful Destruction loses its invincibility frames and sets both abilities’ cooldowns to thirty-five seconds. This ensures the mechanic cannot be spammed while still rewarding skilled timing.
Additional System Changes
A weekend bonus now boosts both cash and style currency gain by one-point-five times. A new toggle at the bottom right of the screen displays both currencies directly, keeping players informed during matches. Several characters received new Overtime voicelines, adding more flavor to clutch moments.
Bug Fixes
Reflex Mode now correctly displays cooldowns in Randomizer.
Gifted emote wheels function as intended.
Kurona’s autogoal exploit no longer breaks the match.
DPadUp no longer interferes with the topbar.
These fixes help stabilize gameplay and ensure special mechanics behave consistently.
