A major systems and Arise Crossover Weapon Update update has arrived, shifting how progression, weapons, relics, and titles function. This guide breaks down every new feature, how it works, and what players should focus on first.
No Halloween Content in This Patch
Despite releasing during the Halloween period, this update is not a Halloween Part 4 patch. There are no new Halloween cosmetics or expansions here. The next update is expected to continue the Halloween event.
Level 975+ New Perks
Upon reaching Level 975, three new permanent upgrades become available:
| Upgrade | Effect |
|---|---|
| Weapon Skill Charge | Enables the new weapon skill system |
| Ultra Shadows | Increases Shadow Damage by 100 percent |
| Dungeon Flyer | Increases movement speed in dungeons |
All three have a noticeable impact. The movement speed perk especially speeds up farming loops for players who grind dungeons frequently.
Relic System Update – UGM Tier Added
Relics now have a higher cap and can be upgraded to UGM, increasing their power further.
Requirements to Upgrade a Relic to UGM
- 25 Legendary Cores
- 2600 Dust (approximate)
- 100 DD Gems
Because the cost is very high, only upgrade relics that directly contribute to your main damage team.
Auto-Destroy Shadow Ranks
A new setting allows players to automatically destroy unwanted shadow items so they no longer clog inventory:
Settings → Gameplay → Auto Destroy Shadow Rank
This saves a large amount of time for players who frequently farm shadows.
Weapon Leveling System
Weapons now have individual levels and stat scaling. You can invest coins to increase weapon level and unlock skill slots.
- Weapons currently have up to 475 levels.
- Levelling weapons increases their raw stats.
- Certain level milestones unlock additional skill slots.
- Investing in weapon levels finally gives purpose to excess currency.
This system rewards players who specialize and build around one main weapon instead of switching constantly.
New Title: Key Legend
A new title is obtainable by completing ten runs of every boss key challenge.
- 50 percent extra damage
The in-game rewards for the milestone are not impressive, but the title itself is worth obtaining due to the strong damage bonus.
New End-Game Title: Omni Monarch
The Omni Monarch title is now one of the strongest titles in the game due to its stat bonuses:
- 52 Shadow Levels
- 150 percent Shadow Damage
- 400 percent Weapon Damage
- 30 percent Rank-Up Luck
This title can heavily shift both dungeon and castle progression, especially when paired with fully upgraded relics and the new weapon skill system.
Weapon Skill System
Weapons can now equip active skills that charge up during combat. Skills must be unlocked from specific dungeons or worlds.
How Weapon Skills Work
- Skill power increases as you hit enemies and build charge.
- Each skill has a damage multiplier and a charge cost.
- Skills can be swapped based on your current weapon and content type.
Some skills are considered common, while others are extremely rare. Players confirmed that using drop-rate boosts helps increase the chance of obtaining skill drops.
Early Observations About Skill Strength
- Skills with lower activation cost often outperform high-cost skills over long fights due to overall damage per minute.
- Blue Hellfire is currently performing well because it has high damage with a low charge requirement.
This system is still being tested by players, and a meta for best skills is expected to evolve.
Recommended First Priorities
If you are logging in after the update and want a structured path, focus on the following:
- Redeem codes and upgrade core relics to UGM.
- Reach Level 975 to unlock the three new perks.
- Begin leveling your primary weapon and unlock skill slots.
- Obtain the Key Legend title while farming.
- Hunt for your first weapon skill drops.
This order provides power scaling in the fastest and most efficient progression curve.
