If you’ve been waiting for something that actually shakes up Anime Vanguards, Update 11.5 is one of those patches that doesn’t just add content—it changes how you play. New units, a fresh dungeon, extra customization, and a bunch of small improvements all hit at once, and it feels like the game finally picked up its pace again.
Instead of just listing everything, let’s walk through what actually matters when you log in and start playing.
New Units & Memorials
This update brings four new units, and honestly, they’re the main reason people are jumping back in.
Ichigo (Savior) is tied to an evolution quest and ends up as a Vanguard unit, which already tells you he’s meant to be a big deal. Aizen (Deceiver) and Ulquiorra (Diablo) come through dungeon-related content, while the fourth addition ties into the broader update systems.
What stands out isn’t just their strength—it’s how much effort went into their design. The visuals, especially the shinies, feel way more detailed than previous updates. You can actually tell these weren’t rushed, and in-game they look clean.
Memorials also got expanded with four new ones, each tied to these units. If you’re grinding seriously, these aren’t optional—they’re part of what makes the new characters hit their full potential.
New Dungeon & Shop
There’s a brand-new dungeon centered around Diablo (Ulquiorra), and this is where a lot of your grind will happen.
Running it rewards you with items like Hollow Tokens and other materials, which you can then spend in the Dungeon Shop. What’s interesting here is that you can directly buy things like:
- Units
- Memorials
- Evolution items
So instead of relying purely on luck, the game gives you a more controlled way to farm what you need. It’s still a grind—but at least it feels fair.
Worldline Reset
Worldline has been fully reset, which is either exciting or painful depending on how far you were before.
The big change is that old rewards have been swapped out. Instead of previous top-tier rewards, there’s now a new Floor 50 reward, giving players a fresh goal to push toward again.
If you skipped Worldline before, this is a good time to actually take it seriously.
Level Editor
This one came out of nowhere.
You can now create your own levels using the Level Editor, accessible through an NPC in the lobby. It’s surprisingly flexible—you can change paths, set restrictions, and basically design your own challenges.
It’s not something everyone will use daily, but it adds a different kind of replayability that the game didn’t have before.
Events
Two main events are running alongside the update:
- Moonless Sky – Focused on evolving Ichigo and earning rewards
- Spiritual Attackers – Helps you evolve Aizen and Ulquiorra faster
What’s nice here is that the game actually rewards you for progressing instead of just grinding endlessly. In some cases, you even get memorials just by evolving units, which saves a lot of time.
There are also trial modes, which are a huge win. You can test units before fully committing, which helps avoid wasting resources.
Quality of Life Changes
This update quietly fixes a lot of annoyances:
- +4 extra team slots (huge for experimenting with builds)
- New summon animation for memorials
- Better profile visuals and customization
- More consistent rarity changes for older skins
None of these are game-changing alone, but together they make everything feel smoother.
This update feels like a proper step forward.
The new units bring power and variety, the dungeon gives you something meaningful to grind, and features like the level editor and trials add flexibility that was missing before. On top of that, the quality-of-life changes make everyday gameplay less frustrating.
It’s not just more content—it’s better structure.
