Naoya Zenin is one of the newer Jujutsu Kaisen–inspired fighting styles added to Anime Spirits. It’s not a flashy, screen-filling style, but it’s fast, clean, and surprisingly strong if you like aggressive melee-focused combat. This guide explains exactly where to get it, what you need to unlock and awaken it, and what kind of playstyle it actually fits.
Where to Get Naoya Zenin Fighting Style
Naoya Zenin is obtained in Second Sea, not First Sea, so make sure your account is already progressed far enough.
Once you reach Second Sea, head to Jujutsu Academy. Inside that area, there is a boss spawn location tied directly to unlocking this fighting style.
The boss:
- Spawns roughly every 10–20 minutes
- Appears at a fixed spot near the Jujutsu Academy area
- Must be defeated to obtain the required scroll
This boss is the main gatekeeper for Naoya Zenin, and you may need to camp the spawn for a while depending on server luck.
Base Requirements to Unlock Naoya Zenin
To unlock the fighting style itself, you need:
- 500,000 Gems
- Naoya Zenin Scroll (dropped from the boss)
Once you have both, speak to the Naoya Zenin trainer NPC near the boss area. This unlocks the base version of the fighting style.
At this point, you can already use it, but its real value comes after awakening.
How to Awaken Naoya Zenin
The base style is usable, but awakening is where most of the power comes from.
To awaken Naoya Zenin, you need:
- 10 Naoya Zenin Shards
- 1 Scroll
The shards are obtained through repeated farming related to the style, usually from the same content loop as the scroll source. Once you collect all required materials, talk to the awakening NPC near the trainer to complete the process.
After awakening, the fighting style gains improved performance and smoother damage flow.
Playstyle
Naoya Zenin is not designed to be flashy or over-the-top. Instead, it focuses on:
- Fast, aggressive melee pressure
- Clean movement and quick attacks
- Consistent damage rather than burst nukes
It fits players who like staying close to enemies, chaining hits, and keeping pressure without relying on huge cooldowns. Compared to some meta styles, it doesn’t dominate through visuals or massive AoE, but it holds its own through speed and reliability.
Is Naoya Zenin Worth Getting?
If you’re looking for:
- A Jujutsu Kaisen–themed fighting style
- A fast-paced melee option
- Something strong but not overpowered
Then Naoya Zenin is worth picking up.
If you prefer:
- Massive AoE
- Flashy screen-clearing abilities
- Pure PvE farming dominance
Then this style may feel underwhelming compared to higher-tier meta picks.
Naoya Zenin is a solid, well-balanced fighting style that rewards aggressive, up-close gameplay. It’s not mandatory, and it won’t instantly replace top-tier builds, but it’s strong enough to justify the grind, especially after awakening.
