Anime Final Quest is an anime-inspired Roblox RPG that focuses on abilities, dungeon grinding, and steady power growth. For new players, the game can feel confusing at first because there are many systems unlocked early. This guide breaks everything down step by step so you know exactly what to do from the moment you join and how to avoid common beginner mistakes.

Anime Final Quest Beginner Guide – Progress Fast

When you first load into the game, abilities are the core of your power. These abilities are obtained through spins, and there are two main types: Normal Spins and Luck Spins. Normal Spins are more common and usually give basic or mid-tier abilities, while Luck Spins slightly improve your chances of getting higher-rarity abilities.

At the start, do not get too attached to your first pull. Early abilities are meant to help you clear beginner content, not carry you forever. Focus on learning how abilities work, their animations, and cooldowns rather than chasing the rarest pull immediately.

Using Codes at the Start

Before doing anything else, always redeem available codes. Codes usually give free spins, gear spins, or luck spins, which massively help early progression. These free resources allow you to reroll weak abilities without spending time grinding.

Use all codes immediately, then decide whether to keep your ability or reroll. If you get something usable with good AoE or fast attacks, it is worth keeping for early dungeon farming.

Early Ability Choice and What to Look For

As a beginner, you should prioritize abilities with:

  • Wide area damage to clear waves faster
  • Simple mechanics that do not require perfect timing
  • Low cooldown skills for consistent damage

Even abilities that look weak on paper can perform very well early if their animations hit multiple enemies. Do not judge an ability only by rarity; judge it by how easily it clears dungeon waves.

Dungeon Gameplay Explained

Dungeons are where most of your progress happens. Each dungeon consists of waves of enemies that gradually become stronger. Early waves are usually goblins or basic mobs, while later waves introduce tougher enemies and bosses.

Your main goal in dungeons is consistency. Stay alive, keep dealing damage, and learn enemy patterns. Bosses will hit harder and may attack from range, so positioning matters more as you progress.

Clearing full dungeons rewards you with:

  • Cash
  • Experience levels
  • Progress toward quests and unlocks

Always finish the dungeon if possible, because quitting early slows your growth.

Skills, Controls, and Ultimate Ability

Each ability comes with multiple skills, usually mapped to keys like basic attacks, special skills, and an ultimate. Your ultimate ability is unlocked when a red bar fills up during combat. This ultimate usually deals massive damage and can instantly clear tough waves or heavily damage bosses.

Do not waste your ultimate on weak waves. Save it for:

  • High-HP enemies
  • Boss waves
  • Situations where your team is overwhelmed

Using ultimates correctly makes dungeon runs faster and safer.

Gear and Traits System

Gear acts as buffs rather than direct weapons. You can equip gear and then apply traits to it using gems. Traits improve things like skill damage, cooldowns, or overall performance.

For beginners, even a small damage increase, such as a 5% skill damage boost, is valuable. Do not ignore traits just because they seem minor. Over time, these bonuses stack and make a noticeable difference.

Focus on upgrading one main piece of gear instead of spreading resources across many items.

Quests and Egress System

Some advanced features, like Egress, are tied to specific quests that may take multiple days to complete. These are not mandatory at the very beginning. As a new player, your priority should be leveling up, learning dungeons, and strengthening your core build.

Once you are comfortable with the game systems, then you can start focusing on longer quest chains and special unlocks.

Shop and Game Pass Advice

The shop includes bundles, XP boosts, spins, and cosmetic items. As a beginner, most shop items are optional. You can progress perfectly fine without spending Robux.

XP boosts can help, but dungeon efficiency matters more. A skilled run without boosts often outperforms careless grinding with boosts.

Best Beginner Progression Path

The most efficient early-game path looks like this:

  1. Redeem all codes
  2. Choose a usable ability with good AoE
  3. Run normal mode dungeons repeatedly
  4. Learn skill timing and enemy behavior
  5. Upgrade gear traits slowly and wisely
  6. Save ultimates for bosses

Following this loop will steadily increase your level, cash, and overall power.

Do not rush rare abilities at level one. Learn the game first.
Play dungeons consistently rather than hopping between systems.
Use abilities you understand, not just the rarest ones.
Small buffs and traits matter more than they seem early on.
