This tier list is designed around high-end performance in Season 3, including scaling into deep corruption, bossing, survivability, and overall consistency. Every build listed here is viable, but some push the limits of efficiency and safety far better than others.
Last Epoch Season 3 Tier List Guide (November 2025)
S Tier – The Absolute Best
These builds dominate Season 3. They are reliable across all forms of content: high corruption farming, boss fights, and scaling deep into endgame. Expect them to feel strong even with average gear.
Warpath Void Knight – Classic spin-to-win, unmatched mobility and damage uptime with strong scaling.
Bear Beastmaster – Tanky, forgiving, and still hits like a truck. A beginner-friendly powerhouse.
Erasing Strike Void Knight – Huge bursts of single-target damage, erasing bosses almost instantly.
Ballista Falconer (ZHP) – A zero-health pool glass cannon that abuses mechanics for insane DPS.
Judgement Paladin – A hybrid support-DPS monster that melts enemies with holy fire.
Abomination Necromancer – A summon that becomes a raid boss on its own, scaling to absurd levels.
Consistent performance at all corruption levels, smooth leveling into endgame, and unmatched DPS or tankiness.
A Tier – Strong but Slightly Flawed
A Tier builds can do all content well, but usually come with a trade-off: lower clear speed, weaker defenses, or reliance on gear. Still excellent choices.
Devouring Orb Time Rot VK – Great AoE clear but needs constant orb management.
Acid Flask Rogue – Poison stacking damage is lethal, but glassy in defenses.
Tornado Shaman – Fun screen-wide clears, but struggles in targeted boss fights.
Javelin Paladin – Versatile ranged holy DPS, solid scaling but slower than top picks.
Totem Shaman – Strong support flavor with competitive damage.
Shield Throw Paladin – Bouncing hammers of light, great utility but gear-dependent.
Reflect Shaman – Niche reflect damage scaling, strong but not universal.
Rive Void Knight – Reliable melee with smooth scaling.
Harvest Flay Lich – Health-draining playstyle that’s risky but rewarding.
Crit Hammerdin Paladin – Brings Diablo nostalgia; high damage spikes.
Chaos Bolts Lich – Pure caster chaos with scaling potential, but squishy.
Bleed Hammerdin Paladin – Slower scaling compared to Crit version.
Hail of Arrows Marksman – Ranged AoE zoning power, slightly clunky setup.
Profane Veil Warlock – Versatile, but lacks the raw punch of top casters.
Hydrahedron Runemaster – Elemental powerhouse with flashy spells.
Raptor Beastmaster – Pet-centric, strong early scaling but weaker late.
Lightning Blast Runemaster – Reliable, smooth damage scaling.
Sabertooth Beastmaster – Strong summon, less explosive than Abomination.
Glacier Sorcerer – Slow casting but devastating area control.
Storm Crows Beastmaster – Flying companions, great utility but not meta-breaking.
Shatter Strike Spellblade – Burst melee DPS, rewarding skill but gear-hungry.
Earthquake Beastmaster – Massive AoE, but sluggish animations.
Infernal Shade Necromancer – Fire aura scaling, solid but lacks S Tier durability.
Shadow Cascade Bladedancer – High damage chain strikes, very mobile.
Shield Bash Forge Guard – Great for single-target, limited AoE.
Strong endgame viability, but each has a weakness holding it back from S Tier status.
B Tier – Playable but Needs More
These builds can clear endgame content, but they are noticeably less efficient. Many are either clunky, too gear-reliant, or lack scaling in deep corruption.
Smite Void Knight – Fun caster-melee hybrid, but inconsistent DPS.
Multistrike Smite VK – Faster but weaker scaling compared to Rive.
Stygian Coal Lich – Interesting mechanics, but not fully optimized.
Forged Weapons FG – Minion-weapon hybrid, feels gimmicky.
Heartseeker Marksman – Precision ranged shots, but slow clear.
Multistrike FG – Solid melee chain attacks, yet underwhelming late game.
Umbral Blades Falconer – Burst potential, but difficult to execute consistently.
Ignite Shield Rush FG – Flashy, fun, but weaker than other ignite builds.
Frostbite Frost Claw Sorc – Solid thematically, low overall damage scaling.
Lethal Mirage Bladedancer – Cool animation, but falls short in DPS race.
Wraith Necromancer – Minions die too quickly in corruption scaling.
Squirrel Beastmaster – Meme build that can work, but unreliable.
Playable, but noticeably less efficient compared to A/S Tier. Usually better for casual play rather than pushing corruption.
C Tier – Struggling Choices
These are the weakest options right now. They can clear early endgame but hit a wall quickly in scaling or survivability.
Lightning Swarmblade Druid – Concept is cool, but execution is clunky.
Multishot Marksman – Outclassed by Hail of Arrows and Heartseeker.
Torment Warlock – Damage scaling feels underwhelming.
Bleed Falconer – Weak compared to other bleed or Falconer variants.
Roid Mage Necromancer – Gimmick build, lacks competitive numbers.
Fun for experimentation, but not recommended for serious corruption pushing.
- S Tier = Safe Picks: If you want to dominate Season 3, start here.
- A Tier = Great Fun: Strong, flexible, and rewarding, but with some limits.
- B Tier = For Enthusiasts: Playable but niche or flawed.
- C Tier = Challenge Runs: Only choose if you like off-meta builds.
Every build can beat Last Epoch’s endgame, but if efficiency, safety, and raw power are your goals, the S and A Tier builds are where you’ll want to focus.
