1. Trading Plaza – Finally Here!
Location: Moosewood Island
Head over to Moosewood Island and look for the new NPC near the docks. This character will teleport you to the brand-new Trading Plaza, a beautifully designed area centered around a large fountain — and yes, you can fish inside it.
New Currency: Dloons
Think of Dloons as the “gems” of FISCH!. They’re now the core trading currency and can be earned in several ways:
- Fishing in the Trading Plaza fountain
- Selling gear via your booth
- Trading with players
2. Player Booths – Sell Rod Skins, Bobbers & Boats
On the edge of the Trading Plaza, you’ll find booths. Claim one and customize it:
- Sell items like boats, bobbers, or rod skins
- Choose your prices (in Dloons)
- You can even resell items you originally bought with Robux
Yes, Robux-spent items now hold value—finally giving players a form of resale market.
3. Fish Trading – The Aquarium Auction House
Inside the Trading Plaza, enter the Aquarium and talk to the Aquarium Guy NPC. You’ll access the View Catalog section to:
- Browse items listed for sale by other players
- Post up to 3 fish listings at once
- View your fish swimming around once listed!
It’s a visually pleasing and functional addition to in-game trading.
4. Pirate Factions – Reputation & Rewards
Pirate Factions are a new quest system based around reputation grinding and rewards.
Start Point: Moosewood Island (Dock Area)
Talk to Red Merlin to begin. Each faction gives out timed quests. Completing them earns:
- Reputation
- Rank upgrades
- Rewards like titles and even high-speed boats
Pirate Faction Tiers:
- Red Merlin – Beginner Quests
- Midas Mates (C2) – Intermediate Tier
- Ghost Faction (C1) – Highest difficulty, best rewards

5. Two New Islands – New Fishing Zones
This update also introduces two new islands with their own exclusive exotic fish and functions.
Castaway Cliffs (C1)
- Currently empty (in testing)

- Great for fishing and future events
Gilded Arch (C2)
- Supposed to include a Conch Teleport Item that takes you back to C1 (not active during testing)
- Exotic Fish: Unique, location-based species
- Tied to pirate faction quests
6. Apex Event – Limited Global Fish
This update also brings a new Apex Event, a rare occurrence where only a limited number of a specific fish can be caught across the entire server.
How it works:
- Appears via a portal in Moosewood
- Tracks available catches (e.g., only 50 fish)
- Timer on a board shows spawn time
- Extremely rare and competitive
Caught one? You’re lucky — especially if it’s the astral version, which is both huge and visually stunning.
