Anime Mania is back with a re-release, and with that comes a fresh wave of character buffs, nerfs, and a completely reshuffled meta. If you’re wondering who’s worth grinding for in the current version, here’s a complete breakdown of the updated Anime Mania Tier List.
Let’s dive right in—no fluff, just facts and real opinions.
[Re-Release] Anime Mania Tier List 2025 April
S+ Tier (God-Tier Units You Must Get)
These are the strongest characters in the game right now—perfect for boss fights, wave clearing, and basically carrying your entire team.
Best in S+ Tier: Johnny (from JoJo)
Why He’s Broken: His fourth ability is insane for wave clearing.
Time Stop + Full Map Barrage = Unmatched Utility
If you want one unit that does it all—support, DPS, and CC—Johnny’s your guy.
Other Must-Haves:
-
Sasuke (Glazed at Sasuke): Full AoE kit. Best general-use unit in the game.
-
Sukuna: Super easy to get and perfect for carrying you to end-game bosses like Dio.
-
Valentine: Elite boss killer. His damage output in certain scenarios is unmatched.
-
Poochie: Incredible wave clearer and consistent damage dealer.
S Tier (Still Meta—Don’t Sleep on These)
These units are just a step below S+, but still absolutely viable in all content.
Notable Picks:
-
Marco: Reliable healer and support if you don’t have Tsunade.
-
Esther: Solid support and assist unit—versatile and dependable.
-
Stark: Was formerly OP due to a bug, but still great for boss fights.
-
Moa: Decent DPS, but has high SPA (attack cooldown) which can slow down your rotation.
-
Whitebeard: Good for wave clearing due to tsunami abilities, though lacking variety.
S tier characters can carry you through most of the game. If you don’t have an S+ unit, invest in one of these.
A Tier (Strong but Situational)
These are solid characters but have limitations compared to the top tiers.
Standouts:
-
All For One: Versatile moveset and underrated by many. Powerful and stylish.
-
Akainu: Dropped to B tier in the video, but originally a strong pick.
-
Law: Recently tested—underwhelming overall. Not worth heavy investment.
-
Hashirama: Used to be buggy, now fixed. B-tier performance at best.
Use A-tier units to fill gaps in your team until you get better pulls.
B & C Tier (Only Use if You Have To)
B and C tier units are outdated or outclassed by newer characters. Not terrible, but definitely not optimal.
B Tier:
-
Zenos: No strong opinion—untested by the creator.
-
Igoras: Decent, but nothing exciting.
-
Akaza: Needs a buff. Has one of the worst DPS ratios for his tier.
C Tier:
-
Weatherman (from JoJo): A niche pick with some cool abilities.
-
Enzo: Slightly better than the rest here.
Akaza specifically called out as not worth it. Avoid.
D & F Tier (Just… Don’t)
These are the bottom of the barrel. Only use them if you absolutely have no one else, or you’re doing meme runs.
-
D Tier Pick (if forced): Mihawk. Just slightly better than the rest.
-
F Tier: Characters here are either bugged, outdated, or just plain bad.
