Welcome to the Ghoul Re Ghoul Progression Guide. When you load into the game, you’ll see a character select screen. Choose Ghoul on the right side, enter your name, and confirm. Your character will start with no clothes, so head to a clothing store or the Aogiri faction area to fix that.

- Delivery Missions – Deliver packages to NPCs for XP.
- Mission Board – Complete extermination missions for extra XP.
- Rank-Up NPC – Check your progress and requirements to rank up.
Unlocking Your Kagune
To fight, you need a Kagune. You unlock it by collecting 5,000 RC Cells.
- Get RC Cells by eating NPCs or players (preferably Ghouls, as they give more).
- Hold Control + B to consume enemies and gain RC Cells.
- Once you have enough, let another player lower your HP to half. You’ll hear whispers, signaling that you can now equip your Kagune (Control + E).
RC Cells – The Core of Ghoul Power
RC Cells affect healing, hunger, and survivability.
- The hunger bar (below HP) drains over time and refills when you eat NPCs or visit Helter Skelter.
- More RC Cells mean faster healing and increased hunger capacity.
- You can lose RC Cells if another Ghoul eats you.
- Check your RC count at the Hospital.
Permanent Death (PD) – Key for Progression
PD activates every hour for 15 minutes.
Benefits:
- Required for ranking up after A+.
- Gripping (executing) enemies gives their RC Cells.
- More event rewards and faster progression.
- Better loot drops from NPCs.
If an enemy logs out while in combat, their RC Cells are split among attackers based on damage dealt.
Factions – Joining a Group
There are three factions:
- Aogiri – Requires tryouts and ranked fights for promotions.
- Anu – Open to all Ghouls, ranks up through participation.
- CCG – The enemy faction (not for Ghouls).
