This crit mage build is about machine gun magic missle dps, combined with spellsurge, and while your sprites tank. It has utility for PvP / hard fights and high CD burst aoe for pve.

eventually keeps up in dps with a magic missile for pve / Clash / possibly pvp instead of impact - HLB

for the most part, only use these in pvp / spire since your sprites or other players will tank for you

decent in pvp but buff remove rng. Low DPS unless it shoots x6+ lucky strike. long cast time. not a good option overall

Gauntlet gains priority after magic missle lvl 15 - scepter
for pvp if you’re high lvl, passive dmg amp - chalice

- Get S T1 Medal Mage +1 and/or magic missile +1
- level T1 medal to 70 for the last +1 on magic missiles
If you’re able to do both you only need zero or +1 magic missile refinement for magic missile lvl 15 - lvl T3 medal for the sprite, heal, spell surge and magic mastery levels
- lvl T4 medal is all good but expensive
- heal/shield always in PvP; only use in pve if you or the team need them
- Mana shield scales off % max mp.
- crit res is an extra good investment for PvP

- weapon/neck: crit or atk speed or lucky strike
- anywhere else: mage +1 > or magic missile +1 if you need it
after that best is… - elemental wizard +1 > light sage +1
then - summon sprite > spell surge > magic mastery > magical fury
For pvp - chest & helm: crit res > skill ups
- MP is decent at making the mana shield bigger

Use mana shield / heal as needed. add in impact before mm if 10+. You can add in FM if you lvl it instead
PVP
- summon sprite > mana shield > magic missle > heal
add in flame impact or holy light if you levelled them to 10+ after the mana shield cast

- summon sprite > frost meteor > holy light barrage > magic missile
