The Nebuloth Kraken is one of the special pets featured in the Alien update of Steal an Egg. This powerful Diamond pet can be obtained through the Cosmic Eclipse event, which takes place in the hidden Lagoon fishing area. Players who want to get it need to prepare their fishing equipment and reach the event location before trying their luck.
The event has limited stock, making it important to know when and where to fish. Here is how to reach the Lagoon, participate in Cosmic Eclipse, and get a chance to obtain the Nebuloth Kraken.
What Is the Nebuloth Kraken?
Meet the Nebuloth Kraken, an extraordinary Diamond pet that’s part of the Cosmic Eclipse event in Steal an Egg. It’s one of those amazing treasures you can reel in through the Alien fishing system, boasting an impressive earning potential of about 17 billion per second. Just imagine what you could do with that kind of income!
Now, here’s the twist: the Nebuloth Kraken isn’t your average pet you can snag from the usual egg purchases. This special Kraken is tied to an exclusive fishing event, so you’ll need to set your sights on the Lagoon and dive into the Cosmic Eclipse festivities for a shot at acquiring one of these beauties.
Keep in mind, the number of Nebuloth Kraken pets is quite limited! There are only 750 of these gems up for grabs, as indicated by the gameplay details, so make sure you jump into the event to secure your own slice of cosmic magic.
How to Unlock the Lagoon
Before you even think about catching the Nebuloth Kraken, you’ll first need to find your way to the elusive Lagoon. To get there, you’ll need to interact with the Alien Ferryman NPC located in the Alien Area, who can help you get a ride to this enchanting spot.
Just a heads up, though: you can’t just waltz up and hop on the travel option when you first encounter him. You’ve got a little homework to do first – you’ll need to catch at least 20 fish in those mysterious alien waters to unlock your passage to the Lagoon.
Here’s a quick rundown of the steps you’ll want to follow:
- Kick off your adventure by entering the Alien Planet via the Alien Spaceship event. It’s your gateway to an exotic experience!
- Once you’re in the Alien Area, keep an eye out for one of those serene fishing ponds where the real fun begins.
- Grab your trusty fishing rod and start reeling in some fish! It’s a gratifying way to immerse yourself in the vibrant world around you.
- Your goal? Catch a total of 20 fish. It might take a little time, but every catch gets you closer!
- Next up, seek out the Alien Ferryman NPC. He is an essential character to get you to your next destination.
- Chat with him, and make sure to choose the option that lets you travel to the Lagoon. You’re almost there!
- After your trip, the first thing you want to do is find that fishing pond in the Lagoon to really get your fishing game on.
Once you’ve successfully navigated these steps, you’ll unlock access to the secret fishing area! Get ready, because it’s time to gear up for the Cosmic Eclipse event.
When Does Cosmic Eclipse Start?
The Cosmic Eclipse is this fantastic and exclusive event tied to the Lagoon. According to game details, it tends to pop up at certain moments during the hour, specifically around the 25th and 55th minutes. Mark your calendars!
This means you’ll want to keep a keen eye on the event timing rather than just hanging around aimlessly. Aim to reach the Lagoon a little ahead of the event start time so you’re right by the fishing spot when it opens up.
Now here’s where it gets exciting: During Cosmic Eclipse, you have the chance to snag the Nebuloth Kraken as a limited-time fishing reward. The event only has a stock of 750 of these pets, so make every fishing moment count!

Best Tips for Getting the Nebuloth Kraken
Because the Nebuloth Kraken is linked to a time-sensitive event, getting ready ahead of time is key. Do your best to unlock the Lagoon before the Cosmic Eclipse event kicks off, rather than wasting precious event time fulfilling the initial fishing requirement.
Also, make sure to use the absolute best fishing rod you have in your inventory! The Kraken Rod, which is a fantastic milestone reward for fishing, not only provides you with a great bonus by doubling the Void Pearl rewards but it’s worth noting that there’s no clear information about whether it enhances the drop chance for the Nebuloth Kraken itself.
Here are some handy tips that could help you out:
- Unlock the Lagoon early: Make sure to catch 20 fish and chat with the Alien Ferryman before the event kicks off. It’s super important to do this to gain access!
- Watch the event timing: Keep your eyes peeled for the Cosmic Eclipse, as it typically shows up around the 25-minute and 55-minute marks of each hour. You don’t want to miss this!
- Stay near the pond: When the event is about to go down, it’s a great idea to hang tight close to the pond. Traveling unnecessarily can cost you those precious moments!
- Bring your best rod: Don’t skimp on your gear; make sure you’re equipped with your strongest fishing rod. It’s crucial for snagging that elusive catch!
- Keep fishing: One thing to remember is that catching the Nebuloth Kraken isn’t a given, so keep those fishing lines in the water!
- Check the remaining stock: Keep in mind that there’s a limited supply of just 750 pets available during the event, so act fast if you can!
