Yama is a Legendary Sword in Blox Fruits and one of the two Cursed Katanas in the game. It is known for its high damage, fast attacks, and useful abilities, making it a good choice for both PvP and PvE. However, getting this sword requires you to complete several quests before you can claim it.

To obtain Yama, players must complete at least 20 Elite Hunter or Player Hunter quests in the Third Sea. Completing 30 quests is a safer bet to ensure the sword will accept you. It’s common to waste time if the requirements aren’t met, so preparation is key.

As you set out on this journey, focus on gearing up and unlocking quick travel options to make your quest for Yama easier.

How to Get Yama in Blox Fruits

You can combine both quest types to reach the requirement. For example, complete 15 Elite Hunter quests and 15 Player Hunter quests to reach a total of 30 quests.

You must complete at least:

  • 20 quests: Gives you a chance to obtain Yama.
  • 30 quests: Guarantees that you meet the sword’s quest requirement.
  • 20 quests: Completing these gives you a solid chance to snag Yama, the legendary sword you’re after.
  • 30 quests: Successfully finishing this amount guarantees that you’ll meet the requirements set for acquiring the sword. It’s a surefire way to get on the path to glory!

Once enough quests have been completed, travel to Hydra Island to find the sword.

How to Complete Elite Hunter Quests

To complete an Elite Hunter quest, follow these steps:

  1. Find the Elite Hunter NPC in the Third Sea.
  2. Interact with the NPC and accept an Elite Hunter quest.
  3. Check your map for the marked island.
  4. Travel to the island and defeat the Elite Pirate.
  5. Return to the Elite Hunter NPC to log your progress and accept another quest.
  6. Repeat until you reach your target.

To speed up the process, unlock Portals for quicker travel between islands. Switching servers can also help you find available Elite Pirates more efficiently.

After meeting the quest requirements, you need to head to Hydra Island in the Third Sea. The Yama sword is tucked away inside the Secret Temple, located behind a waterfall.

Yama Sword Location in Blox Fruits

  1. Navigate to Hydra Island in the Third Sea.
  2. Locate the waterfall on the island.
  3. Enter the Secret Temple concealed behind the waterfall.
  4. Use a destructive attack to break through the temple entrance.
  5. Clear the room by defeating all Ghosts.
  6. Approach the Yama sword.
  7. Interact with the sword to attempt pulling it out.

Using a destructive fruit, like Quake, can help break the temple entrance more efficiently. Be sure that you’ve completed enough quests prior to claiming the sword.

Getting to the sword is just one part; you may need to attempt pulling it multiple times. Completing the necessary quests is crucial.

Even after completing 20 quests, there’s still a chance of rejection. To improve your chances, getting to 30 quests is the best bet.

Upon obtaining Yama, players will also unlock the Demon Mode title.

Yama unlocks two powerful abilities as you progress in Mastery. Both attacks are effective for PvP and PvE engagements.

Here’s a breakdown of Yama’s moveset:

1. Hellish Slash (Z)

  • Mastery: 150
  • Cooldown: 9 seconds
  • Energy: 20

This move initiates a spinning attack aimed at your cursor, followed by an aerial slash to damage adversaries. Perfect for chasing or close-range combat.

Blox Fruits Yama Moveset and Abilities

Yama can be upgraded at the Blacksmith NPC to enhance its damage output by 8%. To upgrade, you’ll need to gather specific materials:

  • 20 Mini Tusks
  • 4 Leather

Once you have the materials, speak to the Blacksmith and select the upgrade option to boost Yama’s effectiveness in battle.

1. Hellish Slash (Z)

Blox Fruits

Hellish Slash is a fantastic ability that lets your character perform a dynamic spinning attack as they move toward your mouse cursor. After that impressive spin, it follows up with a stylish aerial slash that inflicts damage on enemies. This move shines when you’re trying to chase down foes or dealing damage in tight spaces up close.

2. Infernal Hurricane (X)

  • Mastery: To wield this power effectively, you’ll need a mastery level of 300.
  • Cooldown: You’ll want to keep in mind that there’s a cooldown period of 14 seconds before you can unleash this move again.
  • Energy: This powerful attack will cost you 30 energy points, so make sure you plan accordingly!

Infernal Hurricane is an exhilarating move that starts with a charged attack, propelling your character dashing forward. Once you unleash it, a swirling tornado of slashes erupts, dealing damage and stunning enemies caught in the chaos. This ability is perfect for pressuring opponents and preventing them from escaping during heated battles.

How to Upgrade Yama in Blox Fruits

If you’re looking to enhance Yama to maximize its potential, you’ll want to pay a visit to the Blacksmith NPC. Upgrading this sword not only boosts its damage by 8%, making you a more formidable force in fights but also adds that extra flair to your equipment. Just make sure you’re ready with the following materials before you go:

  • 20 Mini Tusks
  • 4 Leather

After gathering up all those materials, it’s time to chat with the Blacksmith! Just select the upgrade option to give Yama a nice boost in damage. Trust me, you’ll be feeling the power in no time!

If you’re aiming to get Yama in Blox Fruits, be prepared to take on a bit of a challenge! You’ll need to finish at least 20 Elite Hunter or Player Hunter quests in the Third Sea. But hey, want to really stack the odds in your favor? Go for 30 completed quests instead—this way, you can dodge any chance of being turned away by the sword.

Once you’ve ticked off those requirements, make your way over to Hydra Island. Look for the Secret Temple tucked away behind the waterfall. Get ready to fight off some Ghosts, and after you’ve taken them down, it’s time to pull that sword! Claiming Yama opens up two epic abilities for you to wield, plus don’t forget you can enhance its damage at the Blacksmith!
