The Rotwood Perch can be caught in Everturn Forest with Coral bait, at any time or weather, though Autumn is preferred for the best results. To ensure you reel in the desired Translucent mutation, use a rod enchanted with Ghastly (100% chance) or the Spiritbinder rod (90% chance). Alternatively, you can attempt to acquire it through appraisal.

The Ancient Wood is found around Sunstone Island with no particular bait or seasonal restrictions. Since the Mossy mutation cannot be appraised, catch it with the Elder Mossripper rod for a 15% base chance and a guaranteed catch with its triggered passive ability.

The Gem Blobfish can be fished up at Treasure Island, using either Crab Cages or Golden Shrimp Bait, valid under all weather and time settings. As it can’t be acquired through appraisal, reel it in directly with the Splitbranch Twig rod, which offers a 35% chance for the Rotting mutation upon catch.

For the Depths Key, fish during the day at Vertigo, specifically at Vertigo’s Dip, or retrieve it from a Strange Whirlpool using Magnet bait.
