Anime Zero offers a diverse range of weapons and accessories that players can collect. Certain choices, however, significantly enhance dungeon clearing and overall gameplay experience. Selecting the right gear can streamline progression and minimize resource waste, making it crucial to understand which items are the best to keep.

Anime Zero Weapons/Units Tier List

Weapons, referred to as units in the game, serve as the primary combat tools in Anime Zero. Each weapon features a unique kit of four moves, catering to various playstyles. Players can acquire these through the Arsenal, and utilizing Anime Zero codes can increase the number of rolls for obtaining superior weapons.

Tier Weapons/Units
S Cataclysm, Cursed King
A Dragon Eclipse, Immortal Sovereign
B Divine Emperor, Lights of Divinity
C Twisted Agony, King’s Gambit, Rubber Man
D Cosmic Warrior, Thunder Prodigy

Equipping two weapons simultaneously allows players to adapt to various combat situations during runs. This tier list evaluates each weapon’s combat performance, factoring in utility in both Story and Endless modes, effectiveness against bosses, and overall synergy of abilities.

It’s essential to consider the distinctions between general progression and Raids, as some high-damage weapons may expose players to vulnerabilities. A lower-tier weapon can still excel with proper evolution and a fitting playstyle, so it’s worth assessing each weapon thoroughly.

Anime Zero Tier List for All Weapons and Units

This section summarizes the standings of all weapons based on their performance within the game. Let’s dive into the details of each weapon’s strengths and weaknesses in Anime Zero.

Cataclysm (S Tier): Offers rapid attacks, potent multi-tick abilities, and quick cooldowns, making it ideal for Story and Endless modes. Though it lacks the i-frame protection of Cursed King, which makes it safer for Raids, its speed and damage solidify its status as one of the best weapons.

Cursed King (S Tier): Characterized by fast slashes and large fire attacks, it excels due to its i-frames that provide attack opportunities while avoiding damage. This weapon shines in challenging fights, making it a preferred choice for Raids.

Dragon Eclipse (A Tier): Delivers substantial close-range damage and a potent ultimate attack. While it’s capable of dominating early Endless bosses post-awakening, its slower attack style can be less effective in quicker fights.

Immortal Sovereign (A Tier): A versatile Mythic weapon, it performs consistently across Story and Defend content. Although it lacks standout qualities in Raids, it remains a strong choice worth upgrading.

Divine Emperor (B Tier): Combines heavy sword strikes with long-range capabilities. While some abilities may leave users exposed during animations against bosses, it maintains excellent performance in Story and Endless contents.

Lights of Divinity (B Tier): Features fast sword combos and powerful Excalibur-style moves for good burst damage, yet does not match the performance of higher-tier weapons. Its damage output and potential still justify keeping it in your arsenal.

Twisted Agony (C Tier): A unique mix of acrobatics and knife attacks that delivers a fast, unconventional moveset. It may lag behind stronger weapons as enemies grow tougher, but still serves as a valid Legendary option during initial gameplay.

King’s Gambit (C Tier): Concentrates on deceptive range and quick strikes but lacks overall damage in tougher content. It can still serve a purpose in Story and Endless while awaiting stronger alternatives.

Rubber Man (C Tier): Features fast melee combos and impactful strikes, making it beneficial in the game’s early stages. Its potential is limited, so players should aim to replace it with better options as progress continues.

Cosmic Warrior (D Tier): Employs simple mechanics with Kamehameha-style attacks, beneficial for beginners but falls short against stronger opponents as players advance. It’s acceptable at the start but not recommended for long-term use.

Thunder Prodigy (D Tier): Offers a fast-paced gameplay style but suffers from lower damage output as players progress, making it more suitable for early stages before replacement becomes necessary.
