Anime Origins traits significantly enhance a unit’s combat effectiveness by boosting stats like damage, cooldown, and range. Players often face challenges deciding when to reroll traits, as each reroll costs a valuable resource that takes time to acquire.

Mastering which traits provide the biggest battle edge is key since wasting rerolls on mediocre traits delays improving your units’ power. Prioritizing damage and cooldown reductions generally yields the best results during fights.

Before rerolling traits, ensure you have unlocked access to the Trait Reroll NPC and gathered some rerolls. Planning ahead on which traits suit your units will save resources and improve combat performance.

List of Anime Origins Traits and What They Do

Traits are gained through rerolls earned by gameplay, quests, or redeeming specific Anime Origins codes. They come in varying rarities—Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic—that determine both roll probability and the strength of bonuses.

Higher-rarity traits offer better stat boosts and unique passive effects, making them more desirable but less common during rerolls.

With that being said, here is the complete list of Anime Origins traits, including their stats and passives:

Best Anime Origins Traits Tier List

Traits vary in importance, so ranking them helps prioritize rerolls. Our tier list rates traits mainly on damage output, cooldown reduction, and active usefulness in combat.

Traits offering strong stat improvements like damage and cooldown reductions score higher, while those focused solely on income or EXP bonuses rank lower.

Tier Traits
S+ Immortal, Ascendant, Overseer
S Rupture, Stride, Decay
A Ace, Head Hunter, Fury III, Haste III
B Hustler, Hawkeye, Scholar, Fury II, Haste II, Reach III
C Fury I, Haste I, Reach II
D Reach I

Top trait picks include Immortal for its colossal damage boost and game-changing effects, Ascendant for augmenting boss damage, and Overseer which adds true damage on attacks. Damage-focused traits like Rupture and Stride excel on critical hit and attack tempo strategies.

Ace rounds out good general-use choices by providing balanced damage, cooldown, and range improvements, a true triple threat in battle.

When to reroll traits? It’s best to reroll only if your current trait is weak or a better trait fits your unit more effectively. Holding onto a solid trait while saving rerolls can lead to stronger unit builds later.
Which trait is best? The Immortal trait outperforms others by delivering massive damage, cooldown, range, and income bonuses with powerful battlefield effects.
