The latest Last Stop update has arrived, and there is a lot to check out this time. We have four brand-new buses, an Alien Class, new alien events, collectible tokens, rideable horses, and the new Nightmare Mode.
In this post, we will go through everything added in the huge Last Stop update. I’ll explain what each new bus does, how the Alien Class works, where you can find aliens and tokens, and what to expect from the new events.
Some of the new content can completely change how you play. The Rocket Bus gives you a huge speed boost, the Armored Bus offers extra protection, and the Alien Bus can actually summon friendly aliens to fight alongside you.
We also have Nightmare Mode for players looking for a much more difficult experience. So, let’s take a closer look at everything included in this new Last Stop update.
Last Stop Update 2 Guide – Codes, Alien Class, Bus
The update introduces four brand-new buses. Each one has its own abilities and advantages, so your choice can make a difference during your runs.
Alien Bus
First, we have the new Alien Bus. This bus comes with a special ability that lets you summon friendly aliens.
When you activate the ability, aliens will appear and fight alongside you against enemies. The ability has a cooldown of around five minutes, so you cannot constantly summon them.
This makes the Alien Bus particularly interesting when you need some extra help dealing with enemies during a run.
Rocket Bus
Next is the Rocket Bus, which is all about speed.
The bus has two boosters attached to the back, allowing you to travel at 3x speed while the boost is active. However, the system works a little differently from simply filling your normal fuel tank.
You need to add two fuel cans or gas canisters to the boosters. Once they are ready, you can drive the bus and use the Shift button to activate the boosters.
As long as you have fuel available, the Rocket Bus can continue moving at 3x speed. Once the fuel runs out, though, the boost ends.
Even if you refill the regular bus afterward, you will not immediately be able to use the boosters again. You need to return and add two more gas cans to the boosters before activating the speed boost again.
Armored Bus
The Armored Bus gives you extra protection while traveling.
It has metal shutters that can be turned on and off using the button on the bus. When the shutters are lowered, zombies cannot simply climb through the windows like they can with a regular bus.
Instead, they will remain outside and start attacking your tires in an attempt to stop you.
The Armored Bus also provides an extra 10 speed and gives you around 1,700 wheel health.
So, while the bus helps prevent enemies from getting inside, you still need to protect your wheels because zombies can focus their attacks there.
Golden Bus
The Golden Bus is another new addition, and as the name suggests, it is completely covered in gold.
Even the wheels have the golden appearance, making it one of the more noticeable buses in the update.
The Golden Bus gives you +15 top speed and around 3,000 wheel health. You also receive 10% more tokens while using it.
That combination of extra speed, stronger wheels, and additional tokens makes the Golden Bus a useful option for players who want both better mobility and improved rewards.
New Alien Class
The update also adds a brand-new Alien Class.
When you use this class, you spawn with a Ray Gun and also get access to a Hover Boat. The Hover Boat allows you to move above the ground at 3x speed.
The Ray Gun deals 42 damage per shot to enemies. You can reload it using batteries that you find around the map.
So, the Alien Class gives you both a unique weapon and a fast way to move around, making it one of the biggest additions in this update.
How to Get the Alien Bus and Alien Class
There is now a new spin available in the lobby.
You can use this spin to try and obtain the Alien Bus and the Alien Class. However, you need tokens to use it.
The good news is that the update adds several ways to collect these tokens while playing.
As you travel through the game, you can come across different locations and landmarks that have been invaded by aliens.
How to Get Alien Tokens
One of the places you may encounter is a house that has been attacked by aliens.
You can recognize these locations because a UFO appears to have crashed into or landed around the house. Aliens will be present in the area, and when you defeat them, they drop tokens that you can collect.
There are also other alien landmarks throughout the game.
At some locations, you will find crashed UFOs with multiple aliens nearby. Some of these enemies use Ray Guns, while others are melee enemies.
After defeating them, they will drop the tokens you need.
Another location is a scrapyard that has been invaded by aliens. You can identify it by looking for UFOs hovering above the scrapyard.
Aliens can be found inside the area, and defeating them gives you another opportunity to collect more tokens.
So, if you are trying to earn tokens for the new lobby spin, it is worth keeping an eye out for these alien locations during your runs.
New UFO Events
The update also introduces new alien events.
One event involves UFOs appearing and hovering above your bus. During this event, one of the UFOs can pull you upward and begin draining your health.
If this happens, you need to shoot the UFO so that it releases you and drops you back down.
There is also a Mothership event.
During this event, a large Mothership appears and hovers over your bus before eventually passing away.
These new events add more alien encounters to the game and fit perfectly with the rest of the update’s alien theme.
Rideable Horses
Another interesting addition is the new rideable horses.
You can press R to open the loadout and manage the horse. From there, you can make it stop, follow you, or stay on the bus.
You can also ride the horse around the map, which gives you another way to travel during the game.
It is a pretty nice feature, especially since you can control whether the horse follows you or remains with the bus.
Alien Class Ray Gun and Hover Boat
The Ray Gun is one of the main items that comes with the new Alien Class.
It deals 42 damage per shot, and you need to find batteries around the map to reload it.
The class also gives you the Hover Boat.
This vehicle allows you to hover above the ground and travel at 3x speed, giving you a very fast way to move around the map.
Together, the Ray Gun and Hover Boat make the Alien Class very different from the regular classes available in Last Stop.
How the Alien Bus Ability Works
The Alien Bus has its own special ability that allows you to summon friendly aliens.
When you activate it, several aliens appear and fight alongside you. They can help you deal with enemies, giving you some additional support when things become difficult.
The ability has a cooldown of approximately five minutes, so you need to wait before using it again.
How the Armored Bus Protects You
The Armored Bus has metal shutters that can be lowered for protection.
With a regular bus, zombies can climb through the windows and enter the vehicle. However, once the Armored Bus shutters are activated, zombies are unable to get through those windows.
Instead of entering the bus, they will remain outside and begin attacking the tires.
This means the bus gives you better protection from enemies entering, but you still need to watch your wheel health. If the zombies destroy your tires, you can end up getting stuck.
Interestingly, even if the door is open, zombies do not simply walk inside in the same way they would with a regular bus.
Golden Bus Bonuses
The Golden Bus has a completely golden appearance, including its wheels.
Besides the visual design, it gives you several useful bonuses.
You get 10% more tokens, additional top speed, and approximately 3,000 wheel health.
The extra tokens can be especially useful if you are trying to collect enough currency for the new spin and unlock the Alien Bus or Alien Class.
How the Rocket Bus Boosters Work
The Rocket Bus has two boosters attached to the back.
To use them, you first need to add two gas cans or fuel canisters to the boosters.
After that, while driving the bus, you will see the Shift option. Pressing it activates the boosters and sends the bus forward at 3x speed.
You can continue using the boost while you have fuel available.
However, once the bus runs out of fuel, the boost ends.
Simply refilling the bus afterward is not enough to reactivate the boosters. You need to add two more gas cans to the boosters again before you can use the Rocket Bus speed ability another time.
Nightmare Mode
Finally, the update adds the new Nightmare Mode.
You need to be around Level 2, as mentioned, to enter this mode, and up to six players can play together.
When you enter Nightmare Mode, you immediately notice one major difference: it is nighttime.
And it stays nighttime throughout the entire game.
Because it is always dark, zombies continue spawning all the time. Even while you are traveling on the bus or stopping somewhere to loot, zombies can constantly appear around your vehicle.
The zombies also seem to move faster and behave more aggressively, making the mode significantly more difficult.
So, if you want a tougher Last Stop experience with constant enemy pressure, Nightmare Mode is the biggest challenge added in this update.
That is everything new included in this huge Last Stop update. We now have four new buses, the Alien Class, alien token locations, UFO events, rideable horses, and the challenging new Nightmare Mode.
The Alien content is clearly the main focus of this update, especially with the new enemies, landmarks, tokens, Alien Bus, and Alien Class. At the same time, the Rocket, Armored, and Golden buses all bring something different to the game.
Nightmare Mode is also a major addition for players who want a more difficult run where the danger never really stops.
