Devil Fruit Arena is a Roblox fighting game where you collect Devil Fruits, equip their abilities and battle other players. You can also fight bosses to gain levels and earn Yen, which you can spend on more fruit spins.

If you’re just starting out, the main progression loop is simple: spin for a fruit, equip it, level up by fighting, and use Yen to get better fruits.

Devil Fruit Arena Guide – Best Fruits, How to Get Yen Fast

The first thing you need to do is get a Devil Fruit.

Head to the Fruit section in the lobby. This is where you can use your Yen to spin for different fruits.

The game has multiple rarities, so you can get anything from common fruits to much rarer options.

How Much Does a Fruit Spin Cost?

Each spin costs 15 Yen.

To spin:

  1. Open the Fruit section.
  2. Make sure you have enough Yen.
  3. Spend 15 Yen on a spin.
  4. Claim the fruit you receive.
  5. Equip it before entering the arena.

You can keep spinning if you’re trying to replace your current fruit with something better.

Fruits Shown in the Guide

Several fruits were available during the gameplay, including:

  • Sand
  • Ice
  • Bomb
  • Smoke
  • Flame
  • Tremor
  • Love

The exact strength of a fruit depends on its abilities and how well you can use them in combat, so don’t judge a fruit purely by its rarity.

How to Equip a Fruit

Once you’ve obtained a fruit you want to use, equip it from your fruit collection.

After equipping it, click Play to enter the arena.

Your abilities will then change based on the fruit you’ve equipped.

How to Use Tremor Fruit

The gameplay uses Tremor as an example.

The first abilities shown include:

  • Z – Tremor Punch: A close-range attack.
  • X – Tremor Slam: Another attack that requires you to get relatively close to your target.
  • Tremor Blast: An additional ability unlocked later during progression.

Tremor is therefore much easier to use when you’re close enough to your opponent to land its attacks.

Don’t blindly rush into fights, though. Getting close to another player leaves you vulnerable to their abilities as well.

How to Level Up Fast

One of the easiest ways shown to level up is to fight bosses with other players.

Bosses give you an opportunity to deal damage alongside other players instead of having to take them down completely by yourself.

Why Fight Bosses?

Defeating bosses can provide:

  • XP for leveling
  • Yen
  • A safer way to practice your fruit’s abilities

The boss shown in the gameplay had 2,000 HP, and several players attacked it together.

If you’re still learning the game, joining other players against a boss is much safer than immediately trying to fight experienced players in PvP.

How to Get Yen Fast

If you need Yen for more fruit spins, boss farming is one of the main methods shown in the gameplay.

The basic farming loop is:

  1. Find the current boss.
  2. Join other players fighting it.
  3. Use your abilities whenever they’re available.
  4. Help defeat the boss.
  5. Collect the Yen reward.
  6. Return to the Fruit section.
  7. Spend your Yen on more spins.
  8. Equip a better fruit if you get one.
  9. Repeat.

Fighting bosses with other players makes the process easier because everyone contributes damage.

Don’t Fight Players Too Early

PvP can be much more difficult than boss farming.

During the gameplay, the player was nearly defeated after getting caught by another player’s abilities and was reduced to just 1 HP.

Instead of continuing the fight, they dashed away and escaped.

This is an important tip for new players: you don’t have to fight everyone you see.

If your HP is low, get out of the fight and look for a safer opportunity to recover or farm the boss.

Use Your Dash to Escape

Movement is extremely important in Devil Fruit Arena.

If another player is chasing you and you’re low on HP, use your dash to create distance.

The gameplay demonstrates this after the player reaches 1 HP. Rather than trying to trade attacks, they continually dash away until they manage to escape.

This is especially useful when you’re using a fruit that relies on close-range attacks.

Unlock New Abilities

As you progress, you can unlock additional abilities for your fruit.

During the Tremor showcase, the player eventually unlocked Tremor Blast after fighting other players.

This gives you another attack to work into your combat rotation and makes your fruit more useful as you progress.

If you’ve only just equipped a fruit, don’t assume you’ve already seen everything it can do. Check your ability progression as you level up.

Best Fruits for Beginners

There isn’t enough information from the gameplay to establish a definitive overall fruit tier list, but some useful options were shown.

Tremor

Tremor was used extensively in the guide and has several attacks, including Tremor Punch, Tremor Slam and Tremor Blast.

Its early abilities are mostly close-range, so you’ll need to get near your target.

Love

Love was obtained later through fruit spins and was chosen over Sand during the gameplay.

If you get Love while trying to replace an older fruit, it may be worth testing its abilities before deciding which one you prefer.

Flame

Flame was also obtained through the fruit spinner and was described as a decent result.

Ice

Ice appeared multiple times during the spins. If you already have Ice, getting another copy doesn’t necessarily help your progression, so you can continue spinning if you’re looking for something different.

Fruit Spin Tips

Getting a rare fruit is largely dependent on the spin, so you won’t always get what you want.

The gameplay demonstrates this several times, with the spinner appearing to land near better rarities before giving a lower-rarity fruit.

To make your spins more efficient:

  • Save Yen before spinning.
  • Don’t spend all your Yen immediately if you still need currency for progression.
  • Replace weaker fruits when you get a better option.
  • Test new fruits instead of judging them only by rarity.
  • Keep farming bosses to fund additional spins.

How to Farm Efficiently

A simple beginner progression route is:

Get a fruit → Equip it → Fight bosses → Earn Yen and XP → Unlock abilities → Buy more spins → Test better fruits → Repeat.

Boss farming is particularly useful because it lets you earn resources without constantly risking your progress in PvP.

Once you’ve become comfortable with your fruit’s abilities, start taking more PvP fights.

Devil Fruit Arena Tips & Tricks

1. Learn Your Ability Range

Some fruits require you to get extremely close to your target.

Tremor, for example, has close-range attacks, so you need to know how far your abilities reach before committing to a fight.

2. Don’t Spam Attacks Without Positioning

Using every ability as soon as it comes off cooldown isn’t always the best strategy.

Position yourself first, then attack when you’re actually within range.

3. Fight Bosses With Other Players

This is one of the easiest ways for a new player to get involved in boss farming.

More players means you don’t have to handle the entire boss yourself.

4. Keep Moving in PvP

Standing still makes it easier for opponents to land their abilities.

Use your movement and dash to avoid attacks and reposition.

5. Escape When You’re Low HP

If you’re down to a tiny amount of health, don’t try to force a kill.

Create distance and look for a safer opportunity.

6. Upgrade Your Fruit Through Progression

As you unlock more abilities, your combat options improve.

Make sure you’re checking for newly unlocked attacks instead of relying only on the first abilities you receive.

7. Save Yen for Better Spins

Every spin costs 15 Yen, so your Yen disappears quickly if you constantly spin without farming.

Fight bosses and build up a supply before spending it on multiple fruit rolls.

For a new player, there’s no need to immediately chase PvP kills.

Start by getting any usable fruit, equip it and learn its abilities. Then head into the arena and farm bosses with other players to gain XP and Yen.

Once you have enough currency, return to the Fruit section and spend 15 Yen per spin looking for better options.

After you’ve unlocked more abilities and understand your fruit’s attack range, start taking more PvP fights.

The most important things to remember are farm bosses for Yen and XP, learn your fruit’s abilities, keep moving during PvP and don’t be afraid to run when you’re low on HP.
