If you’re trying to figure out which Overworld weapons are actually worth getting in Roblox, the sheer number of swords, bows, staffs, shields, and spell pages can make things confusing pretty quickly.
Some weapons are easy to craft and are useful early on, while others require higher Combat, Magic, Ranging, or Crafting levels but are much better long-term options. So instead of throwing every weapon into one giant list, here’s a breakdown from D Tier to S Tier, along with how you can get each one.
Whether you’re playing melee, magic, or ranged, this should give you a good idea of what to use now and what to save up for later.
D Tier Weapons
D Tier is mostly made up of basic weapons and equipment that are useful when you’re just getting started, but you’ll probably replace them fairly quickly.
Easy Unlock
Requires 30 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe in Lumbertown.
Stone Sword
A basic melee weapon that can be crafted at Crafting Level 1.
Page of Light
Purchased from the Scribe in Lumbertown.
Wooden Shield
Obtained through crafting and mainly useful as an early defensive option.
Control Mechanism
Requires 35 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe.
Iron Shield
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 30.
Upward Dash
Requires 45 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe in Lumbertown.
These aren’t weapons I’d recommend investing heavily into if you already have access to stronger gear. They’re more useful as stepping stones while you’re leveling your character.
C Tier Weapons
C Tier is where you start seeing more useful options. There are still plenty of beginner and mid-game weapons here, but some can carry you for quite a while depending on your build.
Stone Arrow
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 1 or obtained as a drop from Goblins.
Bronze Shield
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 15 or purchased from Frank at Iron Guard.
Airbolt Page
You can obtain this from the Tutorial Quest or purchase it from the Scribe in Lumbertown.
Wooden Club
Crafted through the regular crafting system.
Wooden Bow
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 1 and works as an early ranged option.
Bronze Sword
Requires 10 Combat and can either be crafted at Level 15 Crafting or purchased from Frank at Iron Guard.
Water Bolt Staff
Drops from the Lich boss, making it a useful option if you’re already farming the boss.
Silver Mace
Requires 30 Combat and Crafting Level 45.
Bronze Arrow
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 20, dropped by Skeletons, or purchased from Sleepy.
Iron Battle Axe
Requires Crafting Level 30.
Page of Water Walking
Requires 25 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe.
Rusty Iron Sword
Obtained as an enemy drop.
Willow Bow
Requires 15 Ranging and Crafting Level 30.
Silver Shield
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 45.
Airbolt Staff
Can be obtained through Treasure Maps or purchased from the Scribe or Sleepy.
Iron War Axe
Requires 25 Combat and Crafting Level 35.
Goblin Shield
Drops from the Goblin King.
Water Bolt Page
Requires 10 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe.
Silver Sword
Requires 30 Combat and Crafting Level 45.
Rusty Iron Battle Axe
Obtained as an enemy drop.
Bronze War Axe
Requires 15 Combat and Crafting Level 20.
Iron Sword
Requires 20 Combat and Crafting Level 30.
There are quite a few weapons sitting in C Tier, but that’s mainly because they’re useful during the progression phase rather than being the best choices once you’ve reached the higher levels.
A Tier Weapons
A Tier is where things start getting much more interesting.
These weapons aren’t necessarily the absolute best gear available, but they’re strong enough to be worth considering while you’re working toward the top-tier equipment.
Fireball Page
Requires 20 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe.
Goblin Flail
Requires 25 Combat and drops from the Goblin King.
Birch Bow
Requires 30 Ranging and Crafting Level 50.
Necromancer Staff
There are several ways to obtain this one. It can come from:
- Treasure Maps
- Necromancers
- The Scribe in Lumbertown
- Mandy at Iron Guard
Iron Long Sword
Requires 25 Combat and Crafting Level 35.
Iron Arrow
Can be crafted at Crafting Level 35 or obtained as a Skeleton drop.
Fireball Staff
Can be obtained from Treasure Maps, Imps, or the Scribe.
Bronze Long Sword
Requires 15 Combat and Crafting Level 20.
These are much more appealing once your character starts moving into the mid-game, particularly if you’ve already outgrown the basic Bronze and Iron equipment.
S Tier Weapons
Now we’re getting to the gear worth working toward.
S Tier contains the strongest weapons and equipment from this list, although the best choice still depends on whether you’re building around melee, magic, or ranged combat.
Crusader Shield
The Crusader Shield requires:
- 35 Combat
- 40 Magic
It drops from the Abyss Demon.
If you’re building a defensive character, this is one of the big targets to keep in mind.
Staff of the Dead
The Staff of the Dead drops from the Lich boss.
This is one of the major magic-oriented weapons in the S Tier, so magic players should definitely keep an eye out for it while farming the boss.
Silver Arrow
Silver Arrows can be crafted at Crafting Level 50 or dropped by Skeletons.
They’re a strong choice for ranged builds that have reached the later stages of progression.
Silver War Axe
Requires:
- 35 Combat
- Crafting Level 50
If you’re running melee, this is one of the weapons worth working toward as your Combat and Crafting levels increase.
Page of Healing
The Page of Healing can be obtained through Merlin’s Knowledge Quest or purchased from the Scribe in Lumbertown.
This is particularly useful if you’re building around survivability rather than simply trying to maximize damage.
Pine Bow
Requires:
- 40 Ranging
- Crafting Level 65
The high Crafting requirement makes this a later-game ranged weapon, but that’s also what makes it one of the more worthwhile bows to work toward.
Crusader Mace
The Crusader Mace requires 35 Combat and 40 Magic and drops from the Abyss Demon.
It’s another strong option for players running a hybrid melee/magic setup.
Page of Protection
Requires 15 Magic and can be purchased from the Scribe.
Despite the relatively low requirement, it sits among the strongest options in the list because of its defensive utility.
Silver Long Sword
Requires:
- 35 Combat
- Crafting Level 50
For straightforward melee builds, this is one of the weapons you’ll want to keep in mind once you reach the required levels.
Best Weapons by Build
The overall tier isn’t the only thing that matters. Your build should determine which weapon you actually chase.
Best melee targets: Silver War Axe, Silver Long Sword, Crusader Mace
Best magic targets: Staff of the Dead, Crusader Mace, Page of Healing
Best ranged target: Pine Bow, with Silver Arrow as the corresponding ammunition option
Best defensive options: Crusader Shield and Page of Protection
So, for example, there’s not much reason for a dedicated ranged player to grind toward a Silver Long Sword just because it’s S Tier. The weapon needs to fit the build you’re actually using.
