If you loaded into Grow a Chicken Fighter after Update 2 and immediately went back to hatching eggs, you might want to pause for a second. There is quite a bit more going on this time around.

Update 2 adds the Chicken Arena, a new Ascension Egg, nine new chickens, rebirth milestones, missions, Recycler upgrades, better Weekly Shop rewards, and several other changes. Some of these additions are easy to miss if you simply continue with your usual routine.

So, before you spend all your eggs, money, or duplicate chickens, here’s what you should know about Update 2 and what I’d recommend doing first.

Grow a Chicken Fighter ARENA + ADMIN ABUSE Update – C0des

First things first, make sure you’re actually playing in an updated server.

If you’ve been sitting in the same server for a while and the new content isn’t showing up, leave the game and join a fresh server. Sometimes the easiest solution really is just getting out of an old server.

Once you’re in, check the new Patch Notes menu. It gives you an in-game overview of the update, which is useful because you don’t have to rely on an older guide to figure out what changed.

Chicken Arena Guide

The Chicken Arena is one of the biggest additions in Update 2.

Before you jump into it, take a proper look at your strongest combat chicken. Don’t just pick whichever chicken has the biggest Attack number.

You’ll want to compare:

  • HP
  • Attack
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Special ability

The Special is particularly important. A chicken with slightly lower basic stats can still be much better if its special ability is strong enough.

That’s something I’d keep in mind before immediately fusing or recycling older chickens just because nine new ones have been added.

Test them first.

If you’re working toward another fusion, there’s also a very important detail to remember: lock the Special you actually want to keep.

It would be pretty painful to spend ages building a strong chicken, only to accidentally replace its useful ability during a fusion.

So before confirming a fusion, double-check that you’ve locked the Special you want.

Rebirth Milestones Explained

The new Rebirth Milestones system is another feature you should check as soon as you enter Update 2.

The reward track goes all the way to 500 rebirths and contains multiple rewards along the way.

These include things such as:

  • Egg bundles
  • HP bonuses
  • Attack bonuses
  • Other milestone rewards

Some of the bonuses shown include permanent-looking increases such as +1% HP and Attack, so players who are already far into their rebirth progression should definitely check this menu.

There’s also a Claim All button, which makes collecting everything you’ve already unlocked much easier.

Should You Rebirth Immediately?

Not necessarily.

Before rebirthing, check what you’re currently holding and what you’re close to unlocking.

If you’re only a few rebirths away from another useful milestone, it might make sense to push for it instead of resetting immediately.

At the same time, don’t blindly chase a milestone without considering what you’ll lose from resetting. Collect any money, eggs, mission rewards, or other useful resources first.

Basically, look at your next milestone before pressing that rebirth button.

If you’re already sitting on a high rebirth count, there’s a good chance Update 2 has rewards waiting for you.

New Missions in Update 2

Update 2 also introduces new missions, and these are worth checking before you start your normal grinding session.

Instead of treating every mission as a separate task, try to overlap them with things you already need to do.

For example, if one mission asks you to hatch eggs while another requires combat or general progression, work on both at the same time.

That’s much more efficient than completing one objective and then starting another from scratch.

Also, remember to claim completed mission rewards and check the menu again afterward. New objectives may become available once you’ve finished the previous ones.

It gives your grinding session a bit more direction instead of just standing around doing the same thing for hours.

Ascension Egg and Nine New Chickens

Of course, the Ascension Egg is probably the part most players are curious about.

Update 2 adds the Ascension Egg alongside nine new chickens, but don’t assume every new chicken follows exactly the same acquisition route.

The safest way to check is through your Egg Index.

Look for the newly added entries and check what the game tells you about each chicken’s:

  • Egg source
  • Rarity
  • Progression route
  • Laying chance

This is especially important when you get your first Ascension Egg.

I’d avoid immediately hatching, recycling, or throwing away everything around it before you understand how consistently you can obtain another one. Treat your first copy as valuable until you know exactly how the new system works.

What to Check When You Get a New Chicken

When you hatch one of the new chickens, don’t immediately decide whether it’s good or bad based on Attack alone.

Check four things first:

Combat stats: Look at HP, Attack, Power, and Speed.

Special ability: This can completely change how useful a chicken is in combat.

Egg production: A chicken might have another purpose beyond fighting.

Laying chance: Check how useful it is for your overall egg progression.

A chicken with average combat stats could still be valuable if it opens up a useful egg route or has a Special that becomes much stronger through fusion.

For that reason, I’d recommend keeping at least your first copy of every new chicken for now.

It’s too early to look at a brand-new chicken and immediately assume it’s useless. Once players have had time to test the new combinations, we’ll have a much better idea of which ones are actually worth keeping.

Recycler Upgrades

The Recycler has also received new upgrades in Update 2.

Before you start dumping duplicate chickens and unwanted eggs into it, check what’s available and compare the upgrade costs with the extra value you’ll receive.

The goal isn’t simply to buy every Recycler upgrade as soon as you can.

If an upgrade significantly improves your returns and you’re going to be recycling a lot of duplicates anyway, it can be a good investment.

But if you’re saving money for an important incubator or another progression upgrade, don’t drain your entire balance just to upgrade the Recycler.

Think about what will help your overall progression rather than upgrading everything immediately.

Weekly Shop Rewards Improved

The Weekly Shop has also been improved.

That makes it more important to check the current shop rotation before spending your resources elsewhere.

The exact items available can vary depending on the current rotation, so don’t rely on an old shop guide telling you what you should buy.

Open your own shop and see what’s actually available.

I’d prioritize items that save you the most grinding time or help with whichever progression system you’re currently focusing on.

Console Improvements

Update 2 also includes improvements for the console experience.

Console players should check the updated controls and navigation after loading into the game, particularly if some menus feel different from before.

The new Patch Notes screen is also available directly inside the game, so it’s worth checking after future updates instead of having to guess what has changed.

Best Way to Start Update 2

If you’re wondering what you should actually do when you first enter the update, I’d go in roughly this order:

  1. Join a fresh server if the update isn’t showing.
  2. Open the new Patch Notes menu.
  3. Check and claim your Rebirth Milestone rewards.
  4. Look through the new Missions.
  5. Prepare your strongest chickens for the Chicken Arena.
  6. Check the Egg Index for the Ascension Egg and new chickens.
  7. Test the nine new chickens before recycling or fusing them.
  8. Lock important Specials before performing fusions.
  9. Check the Recycler and upgrade it if the investment makes sense.
  10. Visit the improved Weekly Shop before spending your resources elsewhere.

The biggest thing is don’t rush into recycling or fusing the new chickens.

You don’t want to discover later that a chicken you threw away was needed for an important combination or had a much better Special than you realized.

Update 2 gives Grow a Chicken Fighter quite a lot more to work with. The Chicken Arena adds a new reason to care about combat stats and Specials, while the Ascension Egg and nine new chickens give collectors something new to chase.

The Rebirth Milestones and Missions are probably the easiest rewards to overlook, though, especially if you’re used to jumping straight into your normal egg grind.

So my advice is simple: check your milestones first, look at the missions, explore the new chicken content, and only then start spending your resources.

That way, you can take advantage of the rewards you’ve already earned while avoiding the classic mistake of recycling something you’ll wish you had kept later.
