If you just started Fish an Anime RNG on Roblox, the beginning can feel a little confusing. You have money coming in, anime characters to place, food to collect, research to unlock, upgrades to buy, and then there’s the whole rebirth system on top of that.
The good news is that you don’t need to overcomplicate it. Once you understand what to prioritize, your progress speeds up quite a bit. I’ve put together the important stuff below so you can go from a fresh account to a much stronger setup without wasting your early resources.
Fish an Anime RNG Guide – High Rank, Rebirth Fast
Before doing anything else, check the Shop and redeem any active codes you have available.
The code section is located toward the bottom-right of the Shop menu. Codes can give you Lucky Boxes, which are extremely useful when you’re starting out because they can contain things like:
- Cash
- Food
- Gems
- Potions
- Anime characters
- Other useful rewards
The Lucky Boxes are basically free boosts to your progression, so there’s really no reason to leave them sitting there.
If you have several boxes saved up, open them before making major upgrades. You might get a large amount of cash or a strong anime that can immediately improve your income.
Focus on Your Best Anime First
Once you start getting anime characters, don’t spread your food randomly across everything.
Look at the characters you’ve obtained and prioritize the strongest ones you currently own. Feeding them food raises their level, which helps them generate more money.
This is one of the easiest mistakes to make early on. You can end up feeding several weaker characters while your best character is sitting at a low level.
I’d rather have one or two strong anime carrying the base than a bunch of underleveled characters.
Food Is Extremely Important
Whenever you receive food, use it to level up your anime.
Your characters are essentially your money-making engine, so improving them directly improves how quickly you can afford everything else.
A simple early-game loop is:
Collect food → Feed your strongest anime → Generate more money → Upgrade → Repeat
If you have a character assigned to handle food production, make sure you’re actually collecting the food and using it. Don’t just let it sit around while you’re wondering why your income feels slow.
Spend Your Money Before Rebirthing
This is probably one of the most important tips for new players.
Before you hit the rebirth button, look around and see whether there’s anything useful you can purchase or upgrade with your current money.
There’s little point in sitting on a huge pile of cash when you’re about to rebirth and reset your current progression.
Use the money to improve things such as:
- Luck/chances
- Offline earnings
- Cash generation
- Research
- Other available upgrades
The exact best purchase can change depending on how far you’ve progressed, but luck and offline earnings are particularly useful early on.
Prioritize Luck and Chance Upgrades
If you’re wondering what upgrades deserve your attention first, I’d put luck/chance upgrades near the top of the list.
The better your chances are, the easier it becomes to obtain stronger anime.
And stronger anime means better income.
It’s basically a snowball effect:
More Luck → Better Anime → More Income → Faster Upgrades → Faster Rebirths
Don’t completely ignore your other upgrades, though. Offline earnings are also useful because they let your account continue making progress while you’re away.
Rebirth as Soon as It Makes Sense
Don’t be afraid of the rebirth system.
Once you’ve reached the required amount and you’ve already spent your available money on worthwhile upgrades, go ahead and rebirth.
For example, one of the rebirth requirements shown in the gameplay is $2.5 million.
Rebirthing can also increase the size of your base, giving you more room to expand your setup as you progress.
The general idea is to avoid holding onto your current progression for too long just because you don’t want to reset.
Instead:
Build up → Spend your money → Rebirth → Expand → Build again
As you repeat this process, your account becomes much stronger.
Unlock the Research Lab
After rebirthing and expanding your base, keep an eye out for new areas you can unlock.
One of these is the Research Lab, which costs around $50,000 in the gameplay shown.
Once unlocked, you can perform research from your own base.
Research is another progression system you don’t want to completely ignore. Even if a particular research option doesn’t seem amazing at first, improving your overall progression systems will help later.
So whenever you’re wondering what to spend your money on after a rebirth, check whether you’ve unlocked the available research and upgrades.
Don’t Waste Lucky Boxes
Lucky Boxes can give you some pretty ridiculous rewards.
During the gameplay, they produced things ranging from food and gems to anime characters and even $100 million.
Obviously, you won’t get the huge reward every time, but that’s exactly why you should use the boxes you receive rather than ignoring them.
If you get a new anime from a box, place it in your base and start leveling it.
If you get cash, use that cash to accelerate your upgrades and rebirth progress.
If you get food, feed your strongest anime.
It’s all useful in one way or another.
How to Get High Rank Faster
If your main goal is to climb through the ranks quickly, don’t focus only on collecting random characters.
Your priority should be building a strong economy.
A good progression loop looks something like this:
- Redeem all available codes.
- Open your Lucky Boxes.
- Place your strongest anime.
- Collect and use your food.
- Level up your best characters.
- Upgrade Luck/Chance.
- Upgrade Offline Earnings.
- Invest in useful research.
- Spend excess cash before rebirth.
- Rebirth when you meet the requirement.
- Use the larger base to expand your setup.
- Repeat the process.
The stronger your income becomes, the faster every later stage goes.
How to Rebirth Faster
The trick to fast rebirths isn’t simply saving money.
You want to increase the amount of money you’re generating per cycle.
That’s why upgrading your strongest anime matters so much.
Instead of thinking:
“I need to save $2.5 million.”
Think:
“How can I make $2.5 million as quickly as possible?”
That’s where anime levels, food, luck upgrades, cash upgrades, and research all come together.
Every time you improve your income, your next rebirth becomes easier.
Best Early Upgrade Priority
If you’re not sure where to put your resources, I’d generally prioritize them like this:
1. Strong anime
Your best characters should receive the majority of your food.
2. Luck/Chance
Better odds mean better characters over time.
3. Offline Earnings
Very useful if you aren’t constantly playing.
4. Cash upgrades
These help you reach rebirth requirements faster.
5. Research
Keep progressing through the research system whenever you can afford useful upgrades.
You don’t necessarily have to follow this order perfectly. If an upgrade is extremely cheap and immediately useful, there’s nothing wrong with grabbing it.
Use Your Anime to Build a Money Machine
Once you’ve got multiple anime, don’t just place them wherever there’s space.
Think about your base as an income setup.
Your goal is to have your strongest characters doing the heavy lifting while you continuously feed them and improve their levels.
If you pull a much stronger anime than what you’re currently using, don’t hesitate to replace a weaker character.
A new high-rarity character can completely change your income rate.
Don’t Forget to Collect Your Food
This sounds obvious, but it’s easy to get distracted by the other systems.
Make sure you’re regularly checking your food production and collecting what you’ve earned.
Then immediately turn that food into character levels.
There’s no benefit to having a huge pile of unused food while your characters are still underleveled.
A Simple Noob-to-Pro Strategy
If you’re starting from scratch, here’s the route I’d personally follow.
Start by redeeming every available code and opening the Lucky Boxes.
Use any food you receive on your strongest anime. If you pull a particularly good character, make that character one of your main priorities.
Next, start working toward your first rebirth while upgrading your Luck/Chance and Offline Earnings.
Before rebirthing, spend your excess money on useful upgrades or research instead of leaving it unused.
After rebirth, expand your base and unlock new systems such as the Research Lab.
From there, repeat the same cycle while gradually replacing weaker anime with stronger ones.
The important thing is not to get stuck trying to make your first setup perfect. Keep improving the economy and rebirthing, and your progression will naturally accelerate.
