One of the hidden secrets in Experience Abstraction is unlocking Caine and gaining access to the mysterious Cellar. Unlike most objectives in the game, this isn’t something you can complete by yourself—you’ll need another player to help trigger the event.

Getting Caine revolves around one important mechanic: Abstracting.
Before anything else can happen, your character must become Abstracted.
Step 1: Lower Your Sanity
Your first objective is draining your sanity until you Abstract.
There are several ways to reduce sanity:
- Stay away from other players.
- Spend time in dark areas.
- Remain isolated.
- Stay close to players who are already Abstracted.
The goal is simply to let your sanity continue dropping until the transformation begins.
Step 2: Wait Until You Abstract
After spending enough time lowering your sanity (usually around 2–3 minutes), your sanity meter will become critically low.
Eventually, your character will Abstract automatically.
This is the required state before Caine can appear.
Step 3: Another Player Must Help
Once you’ve become Abstracted, you’ll need another player.
The event cannot be completed alone.
Ask another player in your server to assist you with the next step.
Step 4: Have Another Player Type “Caine”
While you’re in the Abstracted state, another player needs to type:
Caine
into the in-game chat.

Step 5: Go to the Ground Floor
After Caine has been triggered, head to the Ground Floor.
From there, continue following the event that appears.
This eventually leads toward unlocking access to the Cellar.

- Stay Abstracted.
- Have another player type “Caine” in chat.
- Go to the Ground Floor.
- Continue interacting with the event as it progresses.
