If you’ve been waiting for the next major content drop in A Dusty Trip, this week’s update brings a handful of fun additions to explore. While the long-awaited Hardcore Mode has been delayed once again, players still have a brand-new bunker landmark, powerful weapons, a police car event, and a towable gun trailer to discover.

If you’re wondering where to find everything, here’s a complete breakdown of the update.

Hardcore Mode Delayed Again

Originally, the developers planned to release Hardcore Mode in this update.

However, it has been postponed once again. The developers haven’t given an exact release date, but it’s expected to arrive in a future update if everything goes according to plan.

For now, the focus is on the new bunker content.

New Eagle Dagger

One of the newest weapons added is the Eagle Dagger.

Unlike normal melee weapons, the Eagle Dagger has a special effect that summons an eagle to attack nearby enemies.

How It Works

  • Summons an eagle after attacking.
  • The eagle automatically targets nearby enemies.
  • Works as an additional source of damage during combat.

At the moment, the eagle’s damage isn’t particularly high, and its activation can feel inconsistent. Sometimes it triggers immediately, while other times it may not appear as expected.

Hopefully, future updates improve both its reliability and overall damage output.

Grenade Launcher

The update also introduces a brand-new Grenade Launcher.

This weapon deals explosive area damage and behaves a little differently from traditional launchers.

Instead of exploding immediately, the grenades appear to bounce around before detonating. In some situations, they even seem to move toward nearby mutants, although it’s currently unclear whether this is intentional homing behavior or simply how the projectiles bounce.

Either way, it’s one of the more entertaining weapons added to the game.

How to Get the Grenade Launcher

The Grenade Launcher is found inside the new bunker landmark.

You won’t find it lying out in the open immediately.

Instead, you’ll need to:

  1. Locate the bunker.
  2. Search inside for a key.
  3. Unlock the weapon storage container.
  4. Collect the Grenade Launcher.

The key appears on one of the bunker shelves, although it’s currently unknown whether its exact spawn location changes between servers.

New Police Car Event

A new random roadside event has also been added.

Instead of encountering the familiar truck event, players now have a chance to discover a Police Car.

The event works similarly to previous roadside encounters and provides another point of interest while driving through the desert.

New Mounted Gun Trailer

Another interesting addition is a towable gun trailer.

Rather than mounting directly onto your vehicle, this acts like a trailer that can be connected behind your car.

Once attached, another player—or even you after stopping—can sit in the mounted seat and operate the machine gun.

How to Attach It

Connecting the trailer is simple:

  • Grab the trailer’s hook.
  • Attach it to your vehicle.
  • Drive as normal with the trailer connected behind you.

It’s a fun option for multiplayer runs, especially when one player drives while another provides covering fire against mutants.

New Bunker Location

The highlight of the update is the brand-new bunker landmark.

You’ll find it spawning after Iron Pass, roughly around the 35,000-meter mark during your journey.

If you’re specifically looking for the Grenade Launcher, this is where you’ll want to head.

What You’ll Find Inside the Bunker

Unlike many dangerous landmarks, the bunker itself is surprisingly safe.

There are no hostile mutants roaming inside, allowing you to explore without constantly fighting enemies.

Inside, you’ll discover several rooms containing different points of interest.

Some of the notable areas include:

  • A room with a mutant locked safely inside a cage.
  • Storage rooms containing loot.
  • The locked weapon room holding the Grenade Launcher.

Because the mutant remains trapped behind bars, it serves more as an environmental detail than an actual threat.

Is the Bunker Worth Visiting?

Definitely.

Even if you already have strong weapons, the bunker is currently the only place to obtain the new Grenade Launcher, making it well worth the trip.

On top of that, the location is safe to explore, making it an easy stop during longer runs without worrying about overwhelming mutant attacks.

Everything Added in This Update

Here’s a quick overview of everything introduced:

  • New Eagle Dagger weapon
  • Grenade Launcher
  • New bunker landmark
  • Police Car roadside event
  • Towable mounted gun trailer
  • Minor bug fixes
  • Hardcore Mode delayed

Minor Bug Fixes

The update also includes a couple of smaller fixes.

The developers fixed:

  • Spawn point saving inside the Westpoint House.
  • An issue that allowed mobile and console players to run backwards.

They also mentioned that more mobile improvements are planned for a future update.

Although Hardcore Mode didn’t make it into this week’s release, the new bunker gives players a fresh landmark to explore and introduces one of the most unique weapons currently available. The Grenade Launcher is easily the standout addition, while the towable gun trailer adds a fun cooperative element for multiplayer road trips.

If you’re planning a long run, make sure to keep driving past Iron Pass until you reach roughly 35,000 meters, explore the bunker thoroughly, grab the hidden key, and claim the Grenade Launcher before continuing your journey across the wasteland.
