Volleyball Legends Update 73 has officially arrived, bringing a brand-new ranked map, major luck boosts for style hunters, free spin codes, bot improvements, and buffs for Ibara players.
While this isn’t one of the game’s biggest content drops, it’s packed with quality-of-life improvements and one of the best spin events we’ve seen in a while. If you’ve been saving spins for a Secret Style or Ability, now is probably the best time to use them.
Here’s everything included in Update 73.
New Jungle Map Added
The headline feature of Update 73 is the introduction of a brand-new map.
Jungle Map
The new Jungle Map takes players deep into a lush jungle environment centered around an ancient temple.
Unlike many of the game’s existing arenas, this map features an outdoor setting with a completely different visual style.
The Jungle Map is available immediately and can now appear in Ranked voting rotations.
If you’re a ranked player, expect to start seeing it frequently over the next few days as everyone tries out the new environment.
Ibara Buffs
Ibara received some welcome improvements in this update.
Charge Rate Changes
1v1 and Mini 1v1
- +25% Charge Rate
2v2 and Higher
- +50% Charge Rate
These buffs should allow Ibara players to activate their abilities much more frequently, especially in larger team modes where the charge increase is substantial.
The 50% boost in 2v2 and above could significantly improve Ibara’s overall viability in competitive matches.
Hit Indicator Improvements
One of the more underrated changes in Update 73 is the reworked hit indicator system.
The developers have improved how impacts are displayed, making it much easier to determine exactly what happened during a play.
Improvements Include
- More accurate wall impact locations.
- Better court impact visualization.
- Clear indicators when the ball hits the ground.
- Improved wall collision feedback.
This should help eliminate confusion during close rallies and controversial points.
Players will now have a much clearer understanding of why points were won or lost.
Bot Improvements
Bots received another upgrade this patch.
The goal appears to be improving AI performance ahead of future training features.
Bot Changes
Bots can now:
- Receive spikes more effectively.
- Defend against attacks better.
- Score points more consistently.
The developers also revealed that these changes are part of a larger plan to eventually introduce selectable bot difficulty levels.
If implemented properly, this could become an excellent practice mode for players looking to improve before jumping into ranked matches.
2x Luck Event Is Live
The biggest reason many players are logging in this weekend is the return of the 2x Luck Event.
This event dramatically improves your chances of obtaining Secret Styles and Secret Abilities.

Secret odds have also been boosted.

- Event Rate: 1%
While 1% may still sound low, it’s actually double the normal rate and can make a huge difference during large spin sessions.
