If you’ve been playing Clash Royale recently, you’ve probably noticed the new C.H.A.O.S Mode and the mysterious secret badges tied to it. At first glance they look cryptic, and the game doesn’t really tell you how to get them. That’s part of the fun — figuring them out while the match modifiers completely change how battles play out.

After spending time in the mode and seeing what the community has discovered so far, here’s a clear breakdown of how these badges work and what you should actually do in matches to unlock them.

How to Unlock 3 Secret Chaos Badges in Clash Royale

C.H.A.O.S Mode feels like Clash Royale with the rules thrown out the window.

Instead of normal battles, every match introduces modifiers that change how your cards behave. These modifiers can turn regular cards into something ridiculous. A Mega Knight might suddenly be able to jump across the entire arena, or Dart Goblin shots might start behaving like mini Sparky blasts.

So even if you bring the same deck every game, the battle can play out completely differently depending on which modifiers appear.

There are a few key things that make this mode different:

  • You still build a normal 8-card deck
  • Only 50 specific cards are available in this mode
  • All cards are capped at Level 11
  • Tower troops have double HP
  • Each card has three possible modifiers

That means strategy isn’t just about your deck anymore. It’s about how you use the modifiers when they appear during the match.

And hidden within this chaos are three secret badges.

How to Unlock Secret Chaos Badge – “Don’t lose…” in Clash Royale

This one is the simplest to understand but surprisingly easy to mess up.

To unlock it, you need to win three C.H.A.O.S matches in a row without losing.

Sounds straightforward, but the randomness of modifiers means games can swing quickly if you get careless. I learned that the hard way after winning two matches and then throwing the third because I tried a weird modifier combo.

A good way to approach this challenge is to play safer than usual. Instead of going all-in on risky pushes, focus on defense and counter pushes. Let your opponent make mistakes first.

Another small tip: if you’re experimenting with modifiers, do it after you get this badge, not before.

Consistency wins here, not flashy plays.

This badge is where things get interesting.

To unlock it, you must win the match with a three-crown victory while never damaging either Princess Tower.

Yes, that means the side towers have to stay completely untouched.

Normally in Clash Royale, you can’t even target the King Tower until a Princess Tower falls. But with the strange modifiers in C.H.A.O.S Mode, there are ways to bypass that rule.

Some modifiers allow troops to jump straight to the King Tower or hit it with unusual effects. Cards like Mega Knight become extremely useful if you get modifiers that extend their mobility or impact range.

In my experience, the best moment to try this challenge is when the opponent activates their own King Tower early. Once that happens, the center tower becomes much easier to target.

From there, just commit to the plan and keep ignoring the Princess Towers. It feels weird at first, but when it works, it’s one of the most satisfying wins you’ll get in the mode.

You have to get all these modifiers in one game:

• Mortar Barbarian Launcher
• Party Rocket
• Party Hut
• Three Wizards Modifier

A Quick Note About the Chaos Mode Schedule

C.H.A.O.S Mode isn’t permanent, at least for now.

The mode first becomes available March 5 at 7 AM UTC, and later a competitive version of the mode will run from March 16 to March 26. During that competitive period, leaderboards and seasonal badges will also appear.

So if you’re planning to unlock the secret badges, it’s a good idea to start experimenting early before the competitive players jump in.

C.H.A.O.S Mode is easily one of the most unpredictable additions Clash Royale has had in a while. One match you’re playing a normal defensive game, and the next your Log is spawning Lumberjacks and everything on the arena turns into complete madness.

If you’re chasing the secret badges, remember:

  • Play consistently to get the 3-win streak badge
  • Look for modifier combos that let you attack the King Tower directly
  • Keep experimenting — the final badge might unlock in the most unexpected way

And honestly, that’s what makes this mode fun. You’re not just playing Clash Royale anymore… you’re figuring out the chaos as you go.
